But who knows since next year it sounds like Masterverse will mostly be based on the MOTU Movie.

But that Masterverse Kobra Kahn looks great. I'd even say perfect.

I bet the movie is only 2 waves. That’s my guess.

Haven’t seen the designs yet, but I’m kind of thinking I don’t need the movie figures

Buuuut, having checked the video and then screenshot it and then zoomed in, it looks like the eyes are facing forward. Flash blows it out but I see enough of the iris coming down.

It's so frustrating to see beautiful female faces on the box right next to Happy Meal toy quality action figures. It's possible the eye printing gets figured out, this line seems to do running changes fairly often. Now running change those elbows and we can talk, lol.

Consistency seems to be their lacking thing more than any other company I have collected.

Evil Lyn is gorgeous and executed wonderfully, elbows aside.

But even WWE stuff will knock someone out the park and then leave a large gulf with the other characters.

But admittedly,.I'm also really biased to wanting a great Teela.
 
So, there are 3 total things from Masterverse going up for pre order during the Wal-Mart SDCC Collector Con. Vintage Collection Stratos and Man At Arms, as well as New Eternia Hordak. I'd say New Eternia Hordak will go up for pre order everywhere eventually along with Teela and Kobra Khan. he is probably just a timed exclusive like New Eternia She-Ra was.

But Vintage Stratos and Man At Arms will be exclusive only to Wal-Mart, so make sure to get your pre orders in so Wal-Mart can cancel them in a timely fashion.

I've actually got NE Hordak on order with Amazon from one of those "phantom listings" that people find once in a while.
 
Vintage MAA isn’t really offering much difference from New Eternia version. It’s already a turn of being WM exclusive. If they can’t even fulfill online orders, at least sell them in stores close to me.
 
Hmmm...I guess with these I'll have to wait to see them in stores before pulling the trigger. I'm willing to allow the possibility that these are just really bad pictures, but I don't see Teela or Hordak being vast improvements over the Revelation or PoP versions that were previously released in these looks.
 
Without any nostalgia (I knew who She-Ra was, but didn't even hear about Hordak until adulthood), I still prefer the white & blue color scheme, but JFC, that new figure is BREATHTAKING.
