Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

Damn, that vintage MAA really doesn't look much different from the New Eternia version.

Seems like MAA being similar is more of a NE problem. He looks really nice for a Vintage line figure. I much prefer the yellow armor and chained weapon. This is one of those collector hills on which we fight to the death, over the issue of molded chain for action poses vs linked chain.

I think I prefer the head on the NE version though, even with the painted flesh tone. The Vintage head looks kinda small and weird.

I can see more differences in those pictures, @vicious . I have the NE MAA in my display as a palace guard fighting alongside the kit-bashed Duncan I made using the NE mustached head and fancy helmet on the Revelations version's body. I think I'm satisfied with those two, and don't need this vintage version at all.

I think I will use New Eternia Man At Arms as Man At Arms, then use the Vintage Collection MAA's as Eternian Palace Guards. Especially since I pre ordered two of them.

I definitely like New Eternia Dragstor, and Force Captain Adora/Despara is pretty cool and gives us more Horde choices. Keldor, who I always love a good figure of, is a bit too different or odd or something in this New Eternia look. But I am going to get it. But as cool as Mattel makes these New Eternia figures, I feel like they somehow didn't live up to their potential here with Keldor. Still, different and it looks fun. So, I'll get the entire Wave.
