My work computer won't pull up the site, for some reason. If she is just the same figure as KLUT but with straight eyes I'm good with that!

Mer Man would have to REALLY wow me to get him, as the NE version is one of my favorite figures in the whole Masterverse line. I guess I could buy some to be soldiers for NEMM, but I'm not sure I want to go down the rabbit hole of army building.

She's ok. Just to get it out of the way, still disappointed in new female arms.

It looks like the chest skin tone on this one matches her face which is something that looks really bad on KLUT, from images I've seen. Haven't seen any of this wave in person, yet.

I think the face on Vintage Teela looks too young. She looks like a teenager with an adult body. She looks like Skipper snuck out of the Barbie factory and is dressing up like Teela. It's puzzling to see them bungle so many female faces after home runs with Snake Teela and Evil-Lyn.

Side-note: it sucks that we preordered MAA over two months ago and there still isn't anything more than a painted prototype image.

I think the irises on KLUT are just painted too light a tint of blue. Darken them, and they're more visible, and the eyes make more sense.

The female arms on these new figures are so strangely awful. Huge downgrade.

I got klut and Hordak and honestly a little underwhelmed with both.

Good things:
- I like the legs on the female buck, they look appropriately strong

Bad:
- i really wish both figures had a ball jointed waist, butterfly joints, and more motion in the torso. The female buck in particular is bad on all those fronts (and the arms)
- also I really don’t like the way the overlays for the waist are on these. Hordak his loin cloth is ever so slightly off center, and it doesn’t seem adjustable. Teela kind of looks like she’s wearing a diaper.

I also think the eyes bother me more in person than I thought they would

Evil-Lyn was fantastic. Snake Teela was well-done. I'd prefer She-Ra look more like her box art (or my avatar...) but the newest release wasn't KLUT-levels of bad.

Definitely all valid critiques. I tend to set my expectations for this line, but they could certainly use better articulation schemes that are standard on so many modern lines. And I'm feeling it with the off-center overlays too. Something about Hordak's hood is not sitting symmetrically with his head and it drives me nuts. One of my Teela's has a weird off-centered pelvic overlay, that or her right leg isn't plugging all the way in or something. Unintentional asymmetry is a total idiosyncrasy for me.
