Marvel Toys on Sale

Venom/Cap is a $48.44 clearance price on Target.com. I'm surprised that one didn't sell out at my store as of Christmas Eve morning.

Target had the most recent X-Men '97 wave marked to 50% off today at my store but were out of the only one that I was tempted to buy a multiple of, Sunspot. Lots and lots of Jubilees. X-Factor Jean was 50% off too and my Target still has at least 20 of her. I'll wait until she hits the final discount of 70% off and buy a couple more of her like I did Savage Land Prof X at around $7.49 each.

Lots of DC Multiverse were 50% off too, but I just grabbed an extra Platinum Cowardly Lot Batman and left the rest... Batman 1000000, Justice Lord Batman, Mr Miracle, Sandman and movie Metamorpho are all I remember.

Damn, your Target sounds awesome. The bombed-out store I was at today had a lone Outback Storm for $21 and change. They did have the Sentry/US Agent set for $25, though.

I think most of these prices are part of the "no one bought this $#!t" After Christmas sale. As much as I may like the new Cap and Blue Venom, I don't think most people are looking for a blue Venom.

Looking for blue Venom? No. But once you have it in hand, you certainly come around on it. Plus that Cap is the best version we have so far.

Indeed. I’ve been surprised at how much I like blue Venom, but blue had always been my favorite color so I acknowledge my bias here.

I wouldn't be against getting another blue Venom, but this time with a comic head, and some black comic inking over the blue plastic.

Yeah, stopped at a few Targets today and noticed The Thunderbolts* 2 packs were 50% off. Luckily they had both. I wasn't going to get these unless they were 50% off or more.

Stopped by Ollie's on my way outta town yesterday to grab an extra WF Ross while they were 40% off and could not find one - all of the BP figs were just gone. Turns out they'd all gotten marked down to $1 and a woman had come in and bought them ALL.

Luckily, I found a few Ross she missed so I bought three and a Jimmy Woo and found all of the above out when they rang up for $4 total. Thanks, Ollie's!

Don't know if it's chain wide, but worth checking if you've been holding out. I also found Shuri and the vehicle for $2 and finally added civilian Shuri to my WF shelf. OF COURSE that PFP packaging disguised that her eyes are printed poorly but for $2 - eh.

BTW - if anyone needs Martin Freeman heads, hit me up. I've got so, so many.

The closest Ollie's to me is 2 hours away and so I've never bothered.

I make a trip to my closest Ross every week but nothing ever for $1 or $2. Some AEW figures for $3.99 is about the best I've done. Star Wars Black Series are usually $6-$8 but it's usually just the Disney+ show leftovers. Very, very rarely do I ever find Marvel Legends, DC Multiverse or GI Joe Classified - but it does happen occassionally. They always have plenty of DragonBall Z and NECA stuff but they keep those price higher in the $16.99-$19.99 range.

Where I've had my best luck is a local "bin store". I've gotten tons of figures there for anywhere from $1-$8. They buy returns or items with damaged packaging in bulk pallets from Amazon, Target, Walmart and others. I've never paid more than $8 for anything there and it's usually far less. Some examples of stuff that I've gotten there relatively recently: X-Men '97 Tiger Stripe Wolverine, Brave New World Falcon, Retro Carded Bombastic Bag Man, Joe Classified Jinx, Joe Classified Tiger Force Duke with Motorcycle, tons and tons of WWE and AEW figures, random DC Multiverse Batman figures, Anime Heroes figures... It's been a treasure trove for me. But unfortunately they haven't been making enough money and are not renewing their lease and are closing down forever this week. I'm definitely bummed about that and am going to really miss that place.

Iron Man Mark III re-release is $17.99 @ Target right now. First purchase of 2026!

At that price, it's at least worth seeing if it's really an upgrade worth keeping. :)
