Marvel Mezco One:12 Collective

Yeah, that’s disappointing.
I shouldn’t be surprised, as Mezco’s scaling is crap. Ever put their classic Spidey next to their classic FF Human Torch? Torchy towers over Pete, even though they should be roughly the same size.
My Thor is on the way. Guess I’ll be displaying him on a flight stand to minimize the shortness. Sigh.

was the height not obvious all the times it was displayed on the convention floor?

That's interesting because my limited experience with Mezco is they're too tall. I also only have live-action based figures where it's not surprising that they would take some liberties, especially in the case of Keaton Batman.

I don't recall any pictures of him standing upright close to any figures. Mezco displays are normally spaced out between figures.

It may be that Mezco’s Thor is accurate height-wise to early silver age art. But Mezco scale overall is still bad.
Their recent Doc Savage (described in the pulps as a “Bronze Giant”) should be a head taller than the shadow. Human Torch and classic Spider-Man should be the same height, but Torch looks like a man compared to a boy when put next to Spidey.

So I’ve been thinking….if the BTAS figures are a success and they make a sizable lineup off figures from the Batman corner of the DCAU/Timmverse. How is this likely to progress? Will they be using this as justification to tackle the rest of the DCAU or do you think they might make a hard left turn and tackle marvel animated properties like X-Men 92/97, Spider-Man the Animated Series or Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?

I think it's impossible to predict them, because they seem to want money at all times while being actively allergic to it by how they run things.

*Looks at the Gomez that dropped an hour ago*
