Marvel Megos

“Arrive”. ie purchased within 30 seconds of being offered online only to have your order cancelled.

One would think the obvious characters are the FF
 
My best friend recently made a trip to the Disney Store (two weeks ago) while on a work trip to CA and found 8 of the Spidey four pack stocked again. He only wanted Spidey and sent me the rest. I looked at Disney online and they are still no where to be found on the site.
 
Aren't we looking at 4 more sets this year? If so, that July date means we'll be getting a lot of Megos in the last 6 months of the year. Was it only 3 more sets? I can't remember.

Supposedly. I doubt it with how late the second set is coming. But who knows, Mego hardly communicates with the fans these days.
 
Mego does have that aura of organized crime about them. Well maybe more like a shiftless slumlord sorta thing. I would take everything with a grain of salt.
 
Yeah I'm glad to have Megos back again. But I've been unimpressed with the way things are communicated by the "leadership" for the company. Mostly through Facebook apparently and podcasts. Neither of which I frequent often.
 
Just ran across this on a random ebay search:

Some kid years ago made their own Quicksilver, Beast, Starfox, Vision and Cyclops with cobbled together Mego parts and paint. There are a few more auctions of Megos from the same seller, but I didn't look carefully enough at those to find more customs because I was struck by so many charming ones in this auction.

I only attempted to make a Green Lantern when I was a kid out of a Superman head and a costume my grandmother sewed for me. She made quite a few outfits for my Steve Austin figure too.

That'a a fun lot. I especially like the Vision custom. That's something I would have done back in the late 70's. I also made a few of my own customs back then. Flash, Black Panther, Wolverine, and Dr. Doom are the ones I remember doing. Did most of them myself except for Doom. My mother helped make his costume.

Man I really want that F4 set; they weren't on my radar as a kid and I still have many Megos from that time. Only as an adult did I start to get more of the ones I never had.
I too hope they can be acquired easier than the last one. I just happen to luck out as my best friend found a restock of them on a work trip.
 
I had to pay the eBay tax on the last set. Ordered them 1 minute after they went up. Cancelled 2 days later. My advice don't use Paypal. All I can figure b/c I heard people's orders being fine that ordered 10 min after me.
 
Was able to get an order in. Will see if it sticks this time.

I missed it. Was there at 8am. Kept being listed as coming soon. I kept refreshing. No change. I wandered off for a few minutes. Came back and it's now on backorder. Sigh. Will these hit stores? There's a Disney store near me. Maybe I'll walk down there this weekend and see if they can order one for me.
 
It entered me in some queue that I sat in and then it popped me in. Have an email saying to expect it Sunday. Believe that when I see it.
