Marvel Legends Two-Packs

I’ve been “tracking” that as well. There’s no explanation I can think of, but I monitor lots of Amazon prices because sometimes they see a significant drop and that’s when I like to strike. Great deals can be found at random times.

I don’t know if anyone else has been watching, but for the last week or so the Gladiator/Deathbird 2-pack has been experiencing those weird price fluctuations on Amazon. One moment it has decreased by a dollar and change, the next moment it has increased by 11 cents, the next it has decreased again by 60 cents, the next it has increased by 4 cents, and on and on.
What is the deal with the micro fluctuations? (Said in my best Jerry Seinfeld voice)
Is it simply algorithmic attenuation/modulation, or does somebody in an office somewhere at Amazon have a bad case of the jitters.
I'm like, just mark that shiz down proper and be done with it already.
My presumption has always been that it's a supply and demand thing. If they have a decent stock, the price might drop to entice buyers. Once they start to sell, Amazon's system sees that, then increases the price again, adjusting as the sales fluctuate in a way that's most beneficial to Bezos' bottom line.

I expect the same; and I expect it is mostly automated by their algorithm or whatever, but I wonder if it requires human approval. Because if it does, whoever is required to sign-off on any changes must be on their last nerve by now from the incessant and seemingly insignificant price-alteration approval requests.

The stranger thing is its only the Gladiator/ Deathbird 2-pack that is doing the crazy fluctuating; there's been no movement whatsoever on the price of either of the Inhumans 2-packs.

Amazon even gives you a link to price history of items. They'll let you know how the price fluctuates within the past 30 days. I've kept an eye on prices for specific items in my "save for later" cart, and have seen prices go lower than within the last 30 days. Sometimes, for items I'm looking to buy again, or to get a better price on, I look up what I paid originally in my order history. Sometimes even what I paid in my order history is still lower than what current prices are within the last 30 days. It seems tedious, but I'm really pretty casual, though habitual, about it.
