Marvel Legends Two-Packs

We need ALL these looks.

I just need to be assured that these versions of Romanov and Maximoff have other figures to be displayed with. Are these post-Heroes Return? Or did they appear this way before that? Like, which version of Iron Man would go with?
This continues to confuse me about how Hasbro operates. If they are planning to make a few more costumes from this era (as is rumored with Scarlet Witch/Vision) why not at least announce it closer to the release of this set? I get spreading out the super popular teams/looks that you know people are clamoring for, but surely The Crossing Black Widow and Quicksilver could use all the help they can get?

Having said that, I will 100% buy every look on the cover Chooch posted. They are mostly terrible and I love them.

Oh man Deodato was such an of-the-moment artist. I always kind of liked the Deodato Thor design in a so-ridiculous-its-fun sort of way. I hope they just go for it and give us that whole line up.... Scarlet Witch,, Giant-Man and Thor are must haves in those looks for me.

Would pick up the Hank Pym/Giant-Man look and probably Scarlet Witch, maybe Hawkeye, just because I like the character. I think that's the worst costume they've ever put on Thor, so no way.
In terms of the story, literally the worst Avengers storyline ever.

I am a classic Avengers guy but I have zero interest in the Crossing costumes unless it is on deep, deep discount.
Hated the story at the time. Hate it even more on a recent re-read.
Mutated Wasp was the nail in the coffin for me.
This is typical Hasbro and their absolute blinding love for the 90s.
It's also them saying "you said you wanted more classic Avengers - well here they are"
Then when these sets bomb, they'll say, "well, you all really don't want classic Avengers so we're moving on".
Hence hindering or completely stopping Mantis, Jack of Hearts, Firebird and all the rest that don't have figures yet from ever getting made.

I like the silly stuff.

Like, I don’t want it *instead of* more classic/serious stuff, but it’s fun to have goofy stuff in the collection. I was just fiddling with Black Series Jar Jar Binks and thinking how fun it is to have this dork done so well in this scale, so that he can go get eaten by Classified giant scorpions if I feel like it. Just fun.

1,000% this!

This. I absolutely 1,000% want our remaining/missing classic Avengers. But I want The Crossing figures as well (especially Thor) because that story was SO BAD, and those costumes SO over-the-top that they’ll make a fantastic display.

It’s a case of the old “it’s so bad it loops back around to good” for me.

I’d go with Tony’s Crossing Armor. It’s like an enhanced looking Classic Armor—more muscular, rivets all over, and larger gauntlets. It’s a cool look. It would make a cool figure, that I would love to get. I remember Phineas Curmudgeon and I used to talk about want a figure of this armor. I hope he’s ok.

Not the best story though. Although Iron Man tanks everything Hawkeye can throw at him, which is amusing. And a decent showing against Hercules, too.

I mostly wanted this set because of Quicksilver. This is hands down one of his best suits even taking the modern green outfit he’s been wearing since the Krakoa era into account
