Marvel Legends Two-Packs

Muse/Bullseye sold out on Pulse.
Well shit I'm glad I grabbed them then. I was reticent because I don't have a classic Matt for them to tangle with, but I'm sure a Maximum is coming sooner or later (hopefully a version based on Waid's run). If nothing else I'll just break down and hunt down the DD armor costume on ebay (I know I'm the only person who likes that suit, but I do).

Well hes also expensive on the aftermarket. I like the look too and went to see how much he was and I'm not willing to pay it. So he has to have some popularity right?

Yeah I was sorta shocked how much the aftermarket was for that fig. Way higher than I'd expect.

Showing sold out to me - I wonder if they really didn't make a lot of these or if this is just Hasbro Hasbro'ing.

EDIT - 22 minutes later it's back up. Can anyone see the stock level?

I checked when I posted and it was at 1700-ish. Now it's showing 561. That's a hell of a drop in a short time - I'm wondering how reliable those numbers really are.

Might be overthinking it, but the price of recent 2-packs has me wondering.

Colossus/Kitty and Muse/Bullseye are both a couple bucks cheaper than other 2-packs last year - $55.99 now, compared to $57.99 for regular and $62.99 for "deluxe" 2-packs in the latter half of 2025. It's a small drop and nothing to throw a parade about, but at the very least it's worth noticing the number isn't moving in the direction it normally does.

Probably too much to hope for any sort of stability given ~waves hand at everything~ but I'll enjoy this tiny win for the moment.

For me also when I click the link it immediately says sold out. But then I refresh the page and it's not.

And I can just repeat that trick every time I click it.

I've watched items on Pulse drop down into the 60s in number then the next day it's 260-something. Then in a week it's 150-something, then it's back up in the 800's. I have to wonder if it's just what they have on hand at any given time, I do notice they seem to "expand" preorders now even after initial sellouts.

I'd rather have a Patsy/Gargoyle 2-pack. It's easier for my brain to justify buying a 2-pack is at least one of the characters has never been made before.

I propose:
Valkyrie and Aragorn Legendary Rider set
Hellcat & Gargoyle
The Devils 2-pack: Devil-Slayer and classic Daimon Hellstrom
Red Guardian II and Presence
I'd be 100% down for these sets!

So I got my Deathbird and Gladiator 2-pack the other day and am quite pleased indeed. As mentioned, I was holding off for a mad discount because I already had a decent Gladiator plus, I prefer a more classic Deathbird and am relatively unfamiliar with this Jim Lee version. That being said, she is pretty stinkin' awesome. Everything is sculpted and engineered well and she definitely has shelf presence. And her maniacal visage is just glorious.
This Gladiator is a marked improvement on the previous releases. Headsculpts and paint details are all clean and tight, and I really love his new build; especially those shoulders. The new approach to engineering the deltoid component with the added bulge integrates that point of articulation with more fluidity and also looks more aesthetically pleasing to my eye.
I feel like it was used on another figure recently but it wasn't as pronounced; maybe on the Executioner?
Anyway, another solid set of figures added to the collection. Keep up the excellent work Hasbro!

But I do still need a classic Deathbird with feathered wings!

I panic-bought the Deathbird-Gladiator two-pack when it first went on sale. January, I think? I couldn't justify paying full price, but I needed Deathbird.

As everyone has said, Deathbird is fantastic. It's maybe the only plastic cape that I won't bother to replace. The face sculpt and hands are expressive without looking cartoony. Always great to add a lady to a comic villain shelf.

Gladiator looked nice, but he's not a character I need in my collection. Already flipped him.
