Marvel Legends Preorders - When and Where

Constrictor is rumored to be in a second Secret Wars wave.

I bet they release Mdm Masque in her classic costume in an Iron Man retro wave.
Even though Madame Masque isn't a huge name character, I can see them doing this. Hasbro often makes a modern version first and then classic 6-12 months later. I'm not a huge Madame Masque fan (ie I don't need multiple figures of her), but her previous figure suffered from the way too think female ML body trope. I'm not much of a fan of this modern look. And frankly...how many Crossbones figures have we gotten over the years? I'm fine with the Ron Lim style one from a few years back. This is definitely a wait for discount set.

I wonder if these won't be carried on Amazon like some of the recent Hasbro and McFarlane stuff.

Couldn't get onto Pulse on the desktop, had to download an update to the app, and it took approximately eight steps to check out. They really need a reboot to their Point of Sale process. It's a disaster.

I'm thinking I may cancel my X-23/Warpath pre-order. Warpath still having pins and X not getting an updated torso really bothers me. Especially her, as she should be super-agile. Plus giver her some updated/better fist/claws would have been nice. This set is due in July and that means they'll likely make the Christmas sales schedule.

I'm being more cautious on any "catch it on sale" items this year. Inventories might dry up and sets that normally linger could sell out. It could very well go the opposite direction, and everything gets clearanced because everyone loses their jobs. It's really a crapshoot.

God, I hope you're right.
If this tariff nonsense were behind us, Hasbro won't be raising prices, right?

Right?

In 2019 when Trump was threatening a 15% Chinese tariff Hasbro raised prices by exactly 15% from $19.99 to $21.49. Trump backed off of that a few months later, and Hasbro re-lowered the price back down to $19.99. They didn't raise it again until Covid increased costs for everything.

I keep hearing rumors that Hasbro will be ending all current pre-orders and re-starting them after tomorrow. I'm guessing we'll see new pricing starting Saturday, or maybe Monday. Nerdzoic sent me an email today saying that Hasbro's pre-order prices would increase after May 9.

@EnigmaticClarity, LOL I hope that doesn't mean they raise prices by 145% this time to match that tariff. Standard size Marvel Legends now $61.23! Maximum Spidey will look like a bargain then! :ROFLMAO:

I've bought four Marvel Legends this year: Rom, Banshee, Max Spider-Man, and movie Electro (only because I got Target to mark it down for me). If four ends up being my total ML purchase for the year, I wouldn't be surprised. Looking ahead I can't think of any that I REALY want. I do have high hopes for Fantastic Four and if that movie shapes up to be good like I'm hoping, I'll probably want figures, but we'll see.

EDIT: Immediately after I posted I realized I lied, it's five. I bought safari Professor X but he's been in my car for two weeks which is a sign I don't really care about him. Judging by the number on the pegs at my Target, this one's future clearance anyway.
