Marvel Legends Preorders - When and Where

Managed to snag both while I was in the drive-thru getting breakfast this morning. Happy about the lower price, and assuming that means both will be shipping out soon given they're probably already in a warehouse somewhere. Very glad I got the Mystique. With that I think all my huge wants for ML are done and now it's just if something strikes my fancy (or I get a nice upgrade to something I already have).
 
I'm up at the asscrack of dawn for an all-day work training. Secured a pre-order around 6:05 a.m. PT.

I didn't really need Mystique, seeing as I have the Walgreens version, but her legs are disturbingly bowlegged. That, plus the new figure's double-jointed elbows, was enough.
 
Fuck both companies.

I'm sick of this fucking horseshit.

Making bare fucking minimum money is a fucking game to them, and stress for people GIVING THEM FUCKING MONEY.

I can't do this anymore.
 
I don't have a Mystique figure at all so I was looking forward to this, glad I managed to snag one. Got Storm too, I like this outfit.
 
I might try the short haired Storm head that came with the 275 set on this retro card Outback Storm. It's not quite the right cut, but it might look ok and stand apart from the previous black uniform Storm if the skin tones match.
 
On the one hand Target pre-orders tend to be pretty limited and there was certainly plenty of Jean and Professor X available in store, so Mystique may be easy enough to get my hands on.

Even so Target pre-order times remain hostile to the pacific time zone. I suppose they don't care since more than 70% of the nation's populatuon lives in Central or Eastern zones... but other companies manage to drop preorders at a more reasonable hour, including Walmart, Amazon and Hasbro itself. It is only Target that insists on preorders going live before the sun is all the way up in the west.
 
Totally forgot about Target's hatred of the West Coast and thought these were going up at 9am today - no Mystique for me.

Fuck Target's bullshit 6am PST drop times.
 
Like PC said, both Jean and Professor X were readily available after they released, including discount prices through the website. I don't guess these two will be that much different.
 
Not really the point, though.

I also have a coupon good for this week only that would have taken a good chunk off the price and now... wasted.
 
I hope my ancestors forgive me for giving Target $30 for this horribly phoned-in Storm. She's going to need a new head, wired cape, and heels to look right...I'm usually relatively easy to please but this Storm and Mystique are both so lazy. And it's still fuck Target.
 
But her whole torso is new - that's why I want it. Probably a pre-tool for a more modern look, but...

Her upper arms are new, right? They don't match 97 or the original can't-stand-to-save-anyone's-life white suit Storm.

Which means this element of this character's costume has received THREE distinct sculpts. When some other, more important costume elements go unsculpted over and over and over. Hasbro is weird.
 
I want it because I'm a whore for the Outback era, which is second only to the Morrison era for me, but that's why I have such a screw face on looking at this figure. So much right (the new parts), but so much wrong (nonsensical reuse)...
