Thoughtful
Cyborg Spider-Man was a great figure. Highly recommend if you missed him.
Thanks, SDC- updating first post.
Who knows, honestly. It's a cool figure but I received mine in the mail and all 8 from the case have been sitting on the pegs for over a week untouched at my local store.Do you really think it will hit clearance? I thought this figure was cool enough to buy three at full price.
I got this same notice about a month ago. Same deal: text telling me it's about to ship, then a cancelation a couple days later. I'm hoping I find it in stores.Just got a text from Walmart regarding my ‘77 Spider-Man preorder:
“Sorry, we had to cancel your Walmart preorder due to an inventory issue. “
This after receiving a text a few days ago alerting me to imminent shipment .
I hate Walmart. Same thing happened with a preorder I had last year for Mego Atlas figures. How can they accept preorders months in advance, then have insufficient inventory to cover those preorders?

The distribution makes zero sense. NONE of the Walmarts near me have the Spirit Spider...haven't once seen him. Of course, I also haven't seen the fabled island display so many Wallys seem to have.Who knows, honestly. It's a cool figure but I received mine in the mail and all 8 from the case have been sitting on the pegs for over a week untouched at my local store.
I found a DC Multiverse red and gold Azrael there a couple of weeks ago on clearance for $10 and I'm pretty sure that it never even hit the normal pegs (or electronics collector section now) at that same Walmart. At the Target across the street I bought several retro card Prof X at the final clearance price of $7.49 each. I expect to end up with even more of the X-Factor Jean at that same price any time now. I can't tell that a single one was purchased at full price, it's at $17.49 now and still can't tell that even one has been bought.
I've often complained about my local stores not carrying their own exclusives, but if this is what happens when they do then I understand why.
