Marvel Legends Maximum Series

It's fringe case, but SirDork on YouTube did damage his Hulk overlay. In his case, the entire arm popped out and he damaged it jamming the arm back in.

Fringe, but worth noting.

I feel like you'd absolutely have to try to do that. That said, I've seen the videos of the under arm of the biceps doing damage to the overlay. Will have to watch out for that.

I really don't care about the parts re-use except for one thing--the main limiting factor with the articulation on 80th Hulk wasn't the torso, it's the hips. You can't even get his legs up to 90 degrees, and that SEVERELY limits the kinds of landing and crouched poses you can get him into. I still don't have him so I'm hoping the hips are actually new, but from what I've seen in the reviews he appears to have the same range of motion in the hips that 80th Hulk does and that's the real tragedy here with the parts re-use.

But even with those limiting hips 80th Hulk was a figure of the year candidate in 2019 so they're working from a decent base. I just wish they had upgraded the hips first and pecs second. I don't care about pins at all and all of that chatter is overblown.

Got the cancellation notice for $50 Hulk from Best Buy this morning.

Yep, me too on the Best Buy Maximum Hulk. I feel like this was their excuse to cancel these that were listed too low. I don't buy from Best Buy often and stuff like this will make that even less often. I was fully prepared to pay $50, but now I think that I'm just going to pass rather than pay $60 elsewhere. I don't like the overlay and just don't care about "the clap" enough to want this for the $60. I'm also not crazy about the color or the heads and am pretty disappointed that it's not pinless, so I'm just going to walk away at this point.

I'm going to try to hold out until the holiday season and hope for a discount. However, I know I could cave for the dopamine hit if I'm in a toy (or life) rut.

I'm still loving Spider-Man. The fine line weblines on his costume, the added neck movement and all the posing possibilities... he's def. my toy of the year thus far.

So after Best Buy canceled my Hulk, I finally decided to get him anyway since I don't see him ever going on sale. I do love the Doc Green head a ton, and honestly the Deodato head is growing on me., just like his teeth grew so big. All the heads sit too low, though. Pretty sure I'm going to cut the peg and insert a stainlesss steel rod in it to lengthen it. Put a little apoxy sculpt around that and I'll like him more.

I really wanna get the Spidey but that price is too steep right now. Maybe if it goes down a little.

Not saying it's worth $50, but it's so fun and has so many options, I don't regret my purchase one bit.

I doubt he'd ever go deep discount. But somewhere may have a sale on him at some point. Hopefully.
