One edge you do have being awake that early is that when local Targets get items in for online order and in-store pickup in my experience those pop up most frequently early in the morning before the stores open at 8AM. I have no specific information for why that's true, but my guess has always been that the inventory trucks arrive early in the morning, so they pop up for in-store pickup as they scan them off the truck. For years I've checked local stores via the Target web site early just to see if they pop up nearby. I've got almost a dozen Targets within my metropolitan region, and I usually end up snagging difficult items this way.
But your more effective route will be to follow my explicit instructions I posted a few days ago. Summarized quickly just call them, give them the DPCI, ask if they have it, if not ask when they're getting it, and ask if nearby stores have it. My last post had far more explicit details for doing this.
that’s a relief that my order hasn’t been charged yet . I managed to update my other orders too just in the off chance that everything comes to a head at once
