Lips too dark, but otherwise a cool looking figure. So which figures go along with the USAgent of this era? This is Force Works, so modular Iron Man? War Machine? Do we have any other characters in era appropriate costumes to pair this guy with?

Iron Man & War Machine like you said, Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter), and the rumored upcoming "The Crossing" Scarlet Witch. Hopefully Century is in the works - I think he'd actually make a fantastic figure.

I've got the whole wave in hand now from EE with the exception of Lady Deadpool. I haven't had much time to mess with them yet but so far Robbie is easily my favorite figure in the wave followed by the Alpha Flight members. Not at all a fan of the Betsy or John figures, but that's mostly just because I have zero attachment to these specific costumes for those characters.

I admit I'm excited for this Betsy figure less for the fact that it's the Outback version, and more for the fact that it's actual original British body Betsy and not body-swapped Psylocke for a change.

Same. I enjoy her characterization in this era more, plus the body-swapping thing has just always left a bad taste in my mouth. Bring on the Mutant Massacre puffy sleeves look, Hasbro!

Marina was one of the things I had to cancel. But I kept both Lady DP and Robbie. They both look really good and I don't wanna miss them. I'm thinking Betsy and Marina will both go on sale at some point, one being a not so popular costume and one being a D? list hero. I want them, but with everything coming out all at once right now, I can't afford them.

Preach! THIS is the version I REALLY want!

EDIT: OOOH! 3-pack with puffy sleeves Betsy, Crosstime Caper/Captain Marshall costume Brian (on Hyperion/Gladiator body), and orange costume Meggan.

Psylocke is another Magik situation for me. Of course I'm thrilled to finally get an Outback Psylocke, but man, that articulation is disappointing. The lady Legends don't live up to modern action figure standards.

I'll be swapping the cape, but that'll be a bitch thanks to the glue at the collar.
I just watched that review and yeah, two big disappointments:

He couldn't get Psylocke to stand on her own without a combination of a stand AND something to prop her up from behind.

Hasbro does an ALL NEW SCULPT for this figure (well, except for the reuse legs) and they willingly leave out standard waist articulation of any sort. There's even sculpt at the waist area of the armor tailor-made to hide that joint!

"That'll be $30".

So I got my set from EE. Quick thoughts:

Lady Deadpool got a great body upgrade, but of all the females I wanted that for, she's ranks around the least needed for that. They could have at least given her a new head and hair.

Ghost Rider is a really nice figure. He feels a bit nekkid without his car, but I do have the Popcorn bucket to use, though it's a bit small.

Marinna is pretty nice, I wish her hair didn't flair out on the sides. Should have been more of the bowl cut look. But I love the skin tone they used for her.

US Agent is a surprise for me as I like him more than I expected. I hated Force Works mostly due to the horrible art, but the figure is quite cool looking in person.

"Hawkeye" is awesome. The body really looks amazing. I still hate that bow, and he would have benefitted from a ball waist, but he's fun to look at.

Betsy really looks amazing, but that cape is a back brick. I might shop for a cloth cape for her.

Wolverine/Winter Soldier is a waste of plastic imo, and my dumbass has 2 of him because I wanted this set now and the case was the only option for that.

Box is close to perfect. I still don't know why they sculpted abs on him. He never had them in this armor, be it red or blue. Still, he looks wicked. His arms pop off way too easy, though.

THIS - I really wish they would have given her a different expression and hair. For the "cheap" figure in this wave meaning no new sculpting on the body the least they could do was update the hair. Or - heaven forbid - an unmasked head. Or a mask half-up. ANYTHING, really. Instead, she got new anklets and bracelets. Unless those are re-used from someone else?

And Marrina, for as long as they made us wait for her, really deserved an alt angry head, or at least one that looked like the box. The cheapness of not doing that is so, so lame.

That Box exists as a Legend figure you can buy is crazy. Exists purely to show people that deep cuts are alive and well in the line.

The day the Boxes of the Marvel universe stop showing up in Legends is the day I stop buying. After 20+ years I’m fairly confident that’s never going to happen, but I’m still always pleasantly surprised by the deep cut character selection.
