Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies and Streaming Series Discussion

I dunno. Deadpool can be much after a while, but I’ll take the more whimsical-absurdist humor any day of the week over the bullying put-down “quips” of the Infinity Saga. Deadpool, I sometimes find really funny. All those cut-down quips? Not at all.

I mean I get it. MCU has to "one up itself" with action set pieces to keep 12 year old boys engaged. Is it 12 year old boys or grown up fanboys? I know the difference isn't mighty but do 12 year olds make the kind of social media stink "adults" do? I stay as far away as possible so I honestly don't know, but what I've seen, it's adults doing the demanding and the complaining.

I wish Marvel would be bold enough to try some new narrative tricks. Cutting out quips in FFFS is as far as we've come back around?

I also think of AoU and the unbreakable Ultron drones that are suddenly everywhere and extremely breakable because it's the end of the movie. I would love to never have to sit through another battle scene like that.

Another thought: AoU might have been stronger if Sam and Rhodey hadn't been kept on the sidelines. It would have shown the concept of the Avengers growing, which would have been really nice, and been different than The Avengers.
 
Some of Michael Mando's posts may indicate that, or he's just posting a ton of stuff because he's excited to be back heh. Can't wait to find out.

Saw that concept art a few days ago and was bummed out. Obviously I don't know what the movie would've been like, but those are some pretty cool designs, and would've made for some hella cool Legends. I know Rosa Salazar's character was still made into a Happy Meal Toy, which, granted, came out like a year before the movie did, but it makes you wonder if there are/were any Legends prototypes for any of the Serpent Society members, since it seems they made it pretty far into production.
 
Same... whatever the movie ended up being, I was ready to get at least Diamondback. But snake people, come on... I would have been all over it. GI Joe, He-Man, even Conan have wonderful snake villains.
