Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies and Streaming Series Discussion

Is it just me, or does Ben's face look different in that scene at the end? Looks like kind of a rocky beard or something.
Yep! I put that in a spoiler tag on the Marvel page. Some folks don't like even little spoilers.

Yes, definitely. So now we know he needs to shave, but we also still don't know..

I assume we'll find out when he uses it to defeat Galactus. Let's just say you're gonna want to see this on the biggest screen you can, though I'd advise against 4DX. Clobberin' time indeed.....

Spoilers for Ironheart

"What if someone were to create AI using brain scanning technology?" Hmmm. I wonder if this will tie into the Vision show.

I'm so excited for Fantastic Four and have loved the first 3 episodes of Ironheart. Between all of this and Thunderbolts, it's a good time to be a fan imo. I didn't hate CA4 either but did find it mid.

The intonation Shalla-Bel uses is just different enough to feel alien. It's a really interesting choice.

Seeing Franklin in a movie with Galactus is giving me Earth-X vibes and that is a compliment. The heartbreak of how Franklin, Reed, and Galactus are interwoven in that story is absolutely devastating.

@CTV I felt the same way about Cap 4. It was as entertaining and impactful as some of the phase 1 and 2 movies. FF definitely looks great to me, and as soon as I have some time to myself (since no one else wants to watch it with me) I'm gonna dive into Iron heart.

Really looking forward to FF. I started following the FF when Byrne took over. So I have a soft spot for the FF, and happy that it looks like they are finally being done well. Pedro doesn't scream Reed to me and that may in part be because he has been in so much lately, while the rest of the cast seem perfect.

Sidebar - Byrne taking on the title as writer was a big unknown at that point. I had been a fan (as most were at the time) of his art on the X-Men and the FF really needed a reset as it, like DD before Miller and Thor before Simonson, had become stale and fans were not really following those titles. Say what you want about Jim Shooter as EiC for Marvel at that time but he did let creators put their stamp on things, especially to revitalize titles that were lagging, and comics were better for it.

It's funny, I keep seeing "Pedro Pascal is overexposed" but I've never seen anything he's been in so F4 will be my first experience with him.

Sadly, I didn't like Cap 4. It was a bit souless to me, except for the Isaiah Bradley drama (Lumbley and Mackie are so good together) and felt like a missed opportunity. But I loved Thunderbolts and really enjoyed the first 3 episodes of Ironheart (DDBA and AAA were both great), so it's been a good time to be a MCU fan. Fantastic Four looks like a lot of fun!
