Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

And of course I'm thinking... well, I can just buy those, and if it's the wrong thing I can simply return them. Walmart has screwed me on returns enough, I know how to do it properly now, right?!

I was just thinking about the F4 movie figures today, funnily enough, and wondering when we'd see them. Obviously I don't know anything, but the little photo tease posted a few weeks back, which showed the hands of actual figures, had me cautiously optimistic that they're rather far along. Probably not completely done; of course, they could've just been painted prototypes, but it was more promising than 3D renders like we got for Thunderbolts. I'd love for the price to stick, but with all the shenanigans and malarkey going on lately, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a placeholder that's updated once the product is revealed.

Part of me is tempted to pre-order as well, but on the chance that the price does change, I don't know how likely WalMart is to honor that price. Guess it's worth a shot?
 
Right. If it changes, I'll cancel and order from somewhere else. Even if it's the same price! I'll keep this order only if they're the cheapest. But worth a shot. I know there's rumors or whatever about a powered up Johnny and Sue, which I stated was my preference, but I dunno. We'll see what happens. They're scheduled to ship July 1st, so that seems like they're ready to go, right? I assume other Amazon, Pulse, BBTS etc will have them listed for preorder soon? Movie comes out 7/25.
 
Amazon sent an email saying NWH Lizard should be here this coming Monday. Hope that pans out- really looking forward to finishing up the display after all these years!

I got Lizard today, and I haven't tested how bendy he is, but on pure aeathetic, I think he is 3rd best NWH villain. Love the colors and the faces on him. Major upgrade in that regard. I like him more than Electro (largely cause he is overpriced and I would like better effect pieces) and Sandman. Gobby and Ock are the best though

Was coming here to say something similar. Mine got delivered today too, and I was surprised he didn't have a bendy tail. The curve of it looks nice, but he could really benefit from even some slight bend. Other than that, though, he's great. Appropriately tall and menacing, and the paint looks really nice. Don't think I ever noticed he had 4 fingers on one hand and 5 on the other- that's a cool little touch (might've been super obvious, but I'm quite talented at missing seemingly obvious details at times 😅 )

Still, finally having all the villains from NWH is such a nice feeling. Only took 3.5 years! Would love for them to round out the Spidey movie villains with at least the leftover Raimi villains. Sandman with the green shirt feels like an easy enough redo, and I'm sure with all the various Venom parts they could do Spidey 3 Venom. I know Franco's Goblin (and Franco himself) are a bit of a sore subject, but he looked pretty cool, at least by early 00's standards. Electro, Goblin, and Rhino from ASM 2 (and Shocker from Homecoming) are probably very unlikely, but I'd take them if they made/remade them. The old swirly Sandman BAF wave from way back when don't look that great, and most go for crazy prices.
 
I would definitely buy SM3 Venom and New Goblin. Maybe they could do New Goblin and just not do a James Franco head? Get around it that way? Venom I feel like they could maybe use some of SM3 Spider-Man cause that Venom isn't really all that much more buff and are similar height.

Sandman I think should get made in his classic SM3 colors. I may not buy it just cause money is tight, but it's too easy a repaint not to do.

I still wish we would get HC Shocker and maybe Hydro-Man from FFH.
 
I would probably have gotten the SM3 Venom for my live action Dark Avengers, but just got the gamerverse symbiote Spiderman and really happy with that.

For future Spiderman movies, I'd be tempted by Scorpion depending on the design, but Hobgoblin is the one I reeeeeally hope for. The Rose is another i would consider but I doubt they'll do him since he'll probably look to much like Zemo.

I so badly want them to do Scorpion in these movies lol. He is probably the #1 unused villain I want now.
 
I want Scorpion, if only because they literally set him up and then never paid that off. I'd be pissed if I was the actor. 😅 He's also arguably the last of the "core" Spidey villains we haven't seen on screen in some form (even if Spidey didn't directly face them, like Kraven and Carnage who, for the record, I would still love to see worked into the MCU proper). I know ASM2's Goblin was technically Green Goblin, but I always considered him more of a Hobgoblin. Scorpion would work great as more of a grounded, tech-based threat, like lots of fans have been clamoring for, and could easily be worked into a henchman for a bigger bad like Kingpin or whoever, if need be.
