Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I think Muse is a better use of resources, personally. S1 Bullseye just looks like a dude. Muse, while I don't care about having a figure of him myself, is more visually interesting and 'final' as a character design compared to Bullseye.
 
I agree. I have zero interest in either the Daredevil or Punisher figures and wouldn't have had any interest in a new Bullseye or Kingpin figure, but personally would have bought any of Foggy, Heather, Karen, Muse, Swordsman, Vanessa or White Tiger. At this point in my collecting I really only want what has never been done before. I'm not terribly interested in minor improvements or updates anymore.
 
S1 Bullseye has (essentially) the same outfit as we've seen in the leaked pics for S2. S2 has the logo very faintly on the forehead, and the opening on the mask may be a bit different.

But Netflix/MCU Bullseye hasn't been done yet. So he would be new
 
So it seems Daredevil and Punisher release a month apart from one another. Refresh my memory, has a D+ wave ever had a staggered release like this? I know the Kate Bishop wave had a staggered reveal but didn't they all ship out together?
 
Best Buy has both listed for 10/1.

I'm hoping these two are shipping like D&W - just the two mains in a case together - so the actual wave can have a BAF. Not sure they can advertise this much and hide a BAF part and D+ waves pretty much need a BAF to help sell. Figured DD would not have a piece but Frank without... hmmmm.

Also, Frank is $24.99 while DD went up for $29.99 - also hmmm...
 
Hmmmm indeed. Amazon has DD on 11/3 and Punisher on 12/3 both at 24.99. The only reason I want these to be a part of a D+ wave is to bring some validation to that leaked list. I really want others on the list (Blade, Elektra, Cassandra, Fox X-Men, etc) to be true.

I wouldn't read much into that. When I do preorders on Amazon, the dates are all over the place. I ordered a bunch of Studio Series and Age of the Primes figures a while back, and within same order I got 3 different dates
 
Anyone else watch the new Fantastic Four trailer? I think it looks really good, personally. Sorta like a more grown up Incredibles (which makes perfect sense). Really eager to see the figures now, especially since they finally showed off Reed's powers (don't know why everyone, myself included, made such a big deal out of the mystery of it- it looks exactly like I think we all thought it would.) I think Silver Surfer looks really cool too; I'm really only familiar with the Norrin Radd version, so Shalla Ball has some mystery to her. I do hope she's included in whatever wave they put out; could totally be wrong, but something still tells me that Thing could be a BAF or deluxe release, which would free up a mainline slot for her.

I'll take either at this point, but if they definitely do a season two figure, I'm cool waiting. The season two DD may need a new chest though, or is it just painted on?

Yes, just did a bit ago! I definitely want the four, but never was a Silver Surfer fan, whatever gender.

I kinda want a Galactus, and he was rumored to get a big figure, but part of me doesn't want him because, while a large figure would be more accurate and I love when my figures are at least close to scale with each other, I also am not a big Galactus fan. So that means cost is a hurdle, AND I feel like any large sized figure is going to make it look like that's my favorite character. To the three people who ever see my collection and don't live with me.
 
I think my desire for a Galactus is going to come down to his presence in both the movie and future projects. It would be awesome to have a one-and-done future-proof Galactus figure (he doesn't strike me as one that'll change much in his design), but if he's not going to be relevant again for another 10 movies or so, then I don't really need the space taken up just yet. The next phase seems to be focusing on Doom, so not sure when the ol' planet gobbler will be back. The reminder of the Celestial in BNW was promising, though!
 
I think the trailer might be the thing that finally gets me to bring out my biggest crowdfunding shame, the un-displayed Galactus, to get some pics of him. I was going to swap out my FF in my office lineup anyway (I've had the original, Walmart-exclusive FF there for ages and should break out some of the newer/better looks) but I've never done anything with the old planet eater because I don't know here to put him.
 
I would be okay waiting for season 2 to get Bullseye. Muse definitely would be great to get, I just am not sure if Walmart or Target possibly as an exclusive want to offer such an....edgier villain like that.

I love the Fantastic Four trailer. I wish it was more fun to discuss the movie in general cause it's essentially culture war BS on most social media and a forum I am on, whenever FF comes up it's just a conversation that boils down to them saying why even bother when the IP failed twice, and it's just exhausting. So I don't really have a fun outlet to discuss that movie. Which annoys me, cause it's probably the Marvel film I am most excited for anytime in the near future. I have waited long for a non garbage FF movie. I am still salty about the RDJ Doom thing, but the FF movie is at least divorced from that outside maybe a post credits cameo or something.
