Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I agree it's probably sleeveless but I'm hoping it's the brown and orange costume. I know chances are extremely slim but I hope.
 
No Gambit bums me out. I know he will be back for Avengers, but was really hoping to see him in another DP wave. Afraid he won’t get done anytime soon now since there are so many characters that will need done for Doomsday. I wanted as many empty spots as possible for the FoxMen!
 
Definitely a mixed bag if true. I'd take Cowboy Deadpool, but not at the expense of another character. Heck, even Lady Deadpool I'd say would be preferable over him, and I'm from Texas- we love our cowboys!

I'll still hold out hope for Gambit and Elektra, especially after the tease at the end of the last livestream. Maybe in a 2 pack? Gambit would easily sell on his own, but maybe they're worried Elektra doesn't have the same selling power? Even though I'm sure folks would buy her just to complete the team. I know we always have the chance of getting him in a Doomsday wave, but there's SO many other characters, and who knows how large a role the X-Men will actually play. But if the rumored Fox X-Men wave really doesn't come to pass, I'd definitely hope for some of those characters in the Doomsday wave- Gambit, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, etc.

I'm sure Cassandra could be fudgeable as Ancient One, if you do a kitbash and are willing to overlook the lack of Tilda face. Sorta like how I have X3 Jean subbing in for Sofina on the D&D: Honor Among Thieves display- it's clearly not the character, but it's the best I can do for now.

I'd definitely take MCU Abomination. I feel like them bringing him back for Shang-Chi and She-Hulk means he's now MCU proper. If it is the MCU version, though, I wonder which they'd do- the more comic accurate reptilian version or the IH version with the bones sticking out. I wouldn't turn down either, but something about the sticky bones feels cooler to me.

I’m down for Blade and Cassandra, X-23 is a maybe for now. Very surprised to see Cowboy Deadpool made the cut vs Gambit or Elektra. Gambit’s probably the most popular of the Void group.

Granted things have changed with how Hasbro has handled movie product in the last couple years vs IW/EG. But given Doomsday is a proper Avengers branded film, I am expecting 2 waves for it. So I think Gambit being in one of those 2 is very likely
 
I am looking over this list of characters that we know of for Doomsday so far, and trying to guess what 2 waves could look like. Again, I would guess an Avengers movie gets 2 waves. Whether they're shared or not....debatable. Honestly hard to predict with how movie stuff has been done recently. But here is my crack at who I think is likely for the 2 waves:

Doctor Doom
Thor
Falcon Cap
Shuri BP
Shang-Chi
Loki
Professor X (deluxe maybe?)
Beast (deluxe maybe?)
Gambit
Nightcrawler
Cyclops
Loki
Some mix of FF characters (I have a feeling even though they're getting a movie this year they will do new ones for maybe Reed and someone else but not all 4....maybe split between this and Secret Wars)

Also gotta remember, Secret Wars is the following year. That may have 2 or like EG maybe 3 waves itself. So someone like Gambit maybe makes it there. But the above guys stand out to me as the most likely candidates for Doomsday figures based on who we know is in it as of today

I really hope so man. I figured prior to Doomsday, we would have most of the characters down justice like the TBolts, F4, Cap and Joaquin, Gambit, Shang Chi, and Shuri. That would leave space for Doom and the legacy X-Men Like Cyclops, Beast, Nightcrawler, hopefully Storm and Jean, and Magneto. I just want representation of all major players going forward because I’m trying to make Secret Wars my stepping off point and I need some XMen!

Side note: really hoping Secret Wars brings back Nic Cage Ghost Rider and his bike so we can get an awesome ghost rider for the MCU shelf!
 
Wait, do you want the Nic Cage Ghost Rider or an awesome one?

I'm kidding. I never actually saw the movies and can't really comment. But I will be surprised if he isn't in Secret Wars.
