Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I really like the implementation of Tarantula's foot blades as seen in the Brand New Day Trailer, it makes so much more sense than the oversized Rosa Klebb toe blades that would result in him having to walk around like a clown. I probably won't get a figure of him unless he has got amazing articulation and detail, but I just wanted to say to whomever recognised the importance of improving on the design for live action, bravo! I hope your work results in getting an action figure.

I found both Wolverines at multiple stores on my run today but nobody else from the wave. Cassandra is the only one I really want. I'm expecting her to be my favorite figure of the year so far. The brown suit Wolverine does look really good, though.

I'm looking to add a battle damaged Wolverine and a Deadpool for my mcu shelf, whats everyone's thoughts on the recent Legends versions and the Mafex versions? Which would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance. X

Wife wanted to rewatch all the movies over the course of the year in no rush. We just finished TIH, and it made me angry about the lack of a Leader figure again. Shame that MCU make ups feel essentially dead right now.
I know he got royally screwed by all the rewrites and everything, and was a bit anticlimactic as a villain, but I'm still a bit bummed we never got a Leader figure. Hell, I'd have taken one even if it fell victim to the "this is based on old concept art" thing, since that one skewed closer to the comics anyway. Feels like an easy enough figure to kitbash, though, if someone makes a Tim Blake Nelson head to go on it.

I don't yet have the new wave, so I can't exactly say, but I've been seeing and hearing great things about the new Wolvie. With the recent upgrades to Legends and Black Series, a lot of folks have been comparing them to a more mass market version of MAFEX and Figuarts. I guess it depends on the level of battle damage you're looking to go for (and if size matters to you, since I think those import companies aren't quite to Legends scale, but I could be wrong). The new Wolverine looks pretty scuffed up, and is accurate to the final battle with the sleeveless look. To my knowledge, there hasn't yet been a battle damaged Deadpool, especially from D&W. There was the one from Deadpool 2 that's all covered with soot and ash and everything, but that's the old suit, so it depends on if that matters to you. Seems like an easy enough figure to dirty up, though, with a little wash and dry brushing.

Thank you. I've got the mafex D&W Wolverine and Deadpool on preorder but wasn't sure if the new Wolverine is better and the deluxe Deadpool is better or not.
