Cross Gen overall was really well done and a breath of fresh air in terms of content. I definitely have heroclix of some of their characters but would likely pick up some figures if they were ever done.

They did a lot of good titles, and it’s a shame they went under. Really each title could support its own wave, and some could support multiple waves by themselves. It was difficult to pair them all down to one wave. Really I’d like to see a line of CrossGen Legends, but I won’t hold my breath.

I'm on a 20+ year hunt scouting for parts to customize a Giselle BUT I definitely want her Brando-styled.

I'd swap in Sephie for Boon and Ethan for Simon - keep the OGs intact. I know Sojourn was the seventh title but I understand including it and would probably even swap Obregon for Mordeath - HA, it's Mordath but that's what my brain remembered and I never made that connection before. Lo these 25 years later.

If we have to get these useless comic book gimmicks then rather than single figure carded waves I’d prefer to see easily available fan channel and pulse offerings of box sets inspired by covers:

Agent X 3-pack

Albert, Elsie Dee and Bloodscream 3-pack under a Wolverine branding, they could even do something fun like call it a Wolverine set but have the lettering stylised to look partially robotic.

Since a lot of people might not love having to get another Thanos to get Psylocke, she could get another release with different head and weapons in a 3-pack with a re-release of Spiral and an all new Revanche as the bespoke sculpted new figure. This way we can get a classic Betsy head as well as give her an alt head with blindfold for after her cybernetic eyes are removed. I think the ratio of reuse to new parts would make this a desirable set.

X-force 5-pack. These characters could all do with an update, especially Shatterstar, and this is the ONLY Sunspot look I’ve ever wanted.

I think this multipacks option would be a good middle ground to please whichever person at Hasbro the comic covers is the perfect project of, while making it less irritating to collectors who would rather be getting a BAF piece or better accessories and alt parts.

If they're going to do Bloodscream at all they need to give him at least 2 heads and both normal and pronounced clawed hands since he transforms into a grotesque undead monster similar to Violator from Spawn. Toss in Cylla Markham (female Skullbuster) since she was around during that era of post-adamantium Wolverine.

Thankfully I don't need the roadtrip era of X-Force but that Domino on that cover does look cool. But now you have me wanting a more Jim Lee / Andy Kubert accurate Psylocke, and I just got the Capcom version last month. Don't get me wrong, she's great, but she's very peach-colored rather than tanned, and I think the head from the Uncanny 275 head looked a little more slender in the face similar to the comics than our newly acquired gamerverse one, nice as it is.

It would have been funny if they did this version of Cannonball in the 2pk with the Gladiator re-release, give how by now it can be considered a "classic showdown" for we aging fans.

Besides, you can't have THAT Rogue costume with the corresponding Gambit one (there's another 2pk) and you might as well throw Deathbird in with Bishop (there's another). Beast with Trish Tilby. Joseph in all his pink & purple glory paired with Erik the Red from the Trial of Gambit that followed the space adventure.

I’d happily take Cannonball as a single carded figure too even and the comic book accessory be damned as long as he gets his legs AND blast effect. His costume glow up when he graduated from X-Force is one of my most wanted figures ever.

Yeah, I was guilty of a little favoritism when putting that wave together. CrossGen could support a whole line in and of itself (Ultraverse too). Narrowing it all down to six figures was frustrating. Favorites were going to be left out, no matter who I selected. (Ethan, Mordath, Qtzr, Charon and Tchlasaurd all almost made the cut) I just want to see the universe(s) realized in figure form, but remain skeptical as Marvel is just sitting on the licensing.

The three-pack idea would also work for building out collector desired teams, especially Imperial Guard, but also Alpha Flight, Rangers, Winter Guard, Masters of Evil, Defenders for a Day. Speaking of which, can't post on the other site, but Tagak the Leopard Lord would be a 100% first day available purchase.
