MAFEX Marvel Figures

Iceman looks great. But Mafex doesn't scale perfectly with Legends, does it? I feel like the figures are a bit smaller, especially the heads. But yeah, best Iceman figure ever.

It scales as well as any given new Legends release scales with the rest of the line. Medicom skews the Mafex line towards the 6.5 inch scale like Legends does, whereas Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line adheres more to a true 6-inch scale and is usually a quarter-inch to a half-inch shorter than their Legends equivalents.

I actually don't mind Bobby being a little smaller. He was drawn that way back in the day at times.

Oh wow...that Iceman looks great! And him having an ice sled base is just icing on the cake!

Marvel Select Iceman has a removable one!
Yes! I always kinda wanted to pick him up even though he's not in scale with the rest of my figures - looks like I have the excuse I needed.

My first double pre-order in years.

I'm not fully in love with Punisher. I'm ambivalent about the V-shaped body. I don't think I like the headsculpts. That said, I feel like this is one you should pull the trigger on (pun intended) even if you're on the fence. Could be a Daredevil or Cap sellout situation.

Iceman is... wow. He's coming off my Marvel Legends top 10 list, that's for sure. Not sure I love the headsculpt, but I can look past it. They're giving me everything else I've ever wanted in an Iceman figure. He looks like ice! He has open hands! He comes with an ice slide!

Hasbro has fucked around and found out waiting to put out a good Iceman because after seeing this one I don't need one anymore.

I'm not as in love with Iceman as most here. I think he looks better than any Legends version we've received up until now. My personal preference for the character is for artists who square-off his musculature to a degree as opposed to making him look like an all-white Silver Surfer. I'd also like to see how he'd look with some white air-brushing over the transparent body. And like many, I do enjoy his power inhibitor belt and it would be cool if they could slip that in as an option.

And on queue they'll show a nice deluxe version of Iceman at SDCC with ice slide and all.... :p

The only Medicom/MAFEX product I've ever purchased was 1/6th scale New 52 Superman because I won a blind auction for him at a local comic book store for $20 (retailed for nearly 10 times that at the time). I think that everyone else just assumed that it would go so high that they didn't bother bidding, or everyone just really hates New 52 that much. In general, I just refuse to pay Medicom's prices and have never seriously considered any of their 1/12th scale figures for that reason alone. Now that the bootleg versions of those are getting significantly better, it's even less likely that I ever would invest in the real deal.
