I doubt I'll ever pick up Roja. Seems too repetitive. Knowing now that she's got the incorrect colors definitely puts me off.
 
I really want La Muerta, and I'm glad BBTS put more preorders back up.

I should see if Grendel is still sold out or not, too...

EDIT: Nope. Still sold out. Sigh...
 
I coulda swore I saw some art that had her bone lines be white as well. But I could be misremembering. Its more like if La Muerta is that good, Roja will be too, and I need someone for her to fight lol. That would be my head reasoning anyway. Plus red head La Muerta? Mmm yes please.

*edit* So I did some digging and I found one, which seems to be a variant cover or something, where Rojas bones are white. Its like the only instance I can find of it, but it does exist. Why they chose white? I unno. Its the same shot that's on the side of the box. If I get her I may just paint the bones black. That shouldn't be too difficult. They're already on there. Just need to make them a different color, if I so desire.

Probably an unpopular opinion but due to my nostalgic attachment to the McF action figure and my minimal reading of Youngblood back in the day, I'd prefer they go with the tactical blue body suit for Badrock rather than the more iconic red and gold. Maybe because I read Spawn, for him I'd prefer the flat top over bald, even though the McF figure was bald.

LC has a Dogman coming up that might work. And of course there are numerous awesome werewolves now from various sources. But I get that a big part of the appeal here is the $17 price tag on Thailog.

Nah, not unpopular. Could be a great looking figure! I really don't have a huge stake in this outside of Chapel having the skull and Badrock being big with gray skin. It's not like any member of Youngblood had a look that lasted decades. Hell, details aren't even consistent within the same page sometimes.
 
This Grendel is awesome. His knees are so tight I think I have given myself arthritis just trying to bend them. One of his mask ties already broke. 😕 Those are the end of my complaints. The Hunter Rose head is really good. It's an innocent looking face that you'd never expect to be an elite murderer and criminal overlord. The articulation is wonderful. He can almost do the splits and kicks high enough that his leg is parallel to the ground. His boots have this nice ridge along the shin that plays well with shadows.
The only thing missing is butterfly joints.

How does he scale with other lines? I'm still waiting for someone to post pics of him with 1/12 and 1/10 Batman figures.
