The Irishman
I finally saw Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. I think I laughed through the entire damned thing! Just more and more absurd as it went on.
When I started watching it, I thought it was a serious thing...then I figured out better.I finally saw Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. I think I laughed through the entire damned thing! Just more and more absurd as it went on.
But there is no evidence to the contrary...Right, apparently he and Madonna never dated and there is no known evidence that Pablo Escobar was a Weird Al fan.
Well now you've got me curious and I may need to look up this version.King Kong, 1933. Don't think I've ever seen it all the way through in decades--if ever; and definitely not this, the most complete version with almost all of the later censorship cuts reinstated. Holy cats! That film is brutally violent and beautifully made. After decades of Kong related adventure/fantasy epics it's easy to forget the original was a straight-up Horror film. Outside of War films, I wonder how many other films can compare to the amount of graphic deaths in this film up to the time of its release. The technical invention on that film is still a marvel.
