LAAT/i Gunship Haslab

So what are people's thoughts on the older LAATs and their pricing on the secondary market now that this is funded?

I want to say that they will drop in value, especially the ones that have similar paint schemes, but I am more on the side that this will not really affect the value of them. Maybe it will drop a little at best.

Probably won’t affect them much in the long run. They may still be the cheaper option if this hits Sail Barge levels of rarity and secondary value.

I wasn't sure this one would happen. I was selfishly hoping this would fail as a line fans were drawing against big ticket items. Maybe with the sluggishness of this and the SnowC.A.T. they'll tamp down a bit. I think they took the relatively low totals on Giant-Man as reason to go with a higher price point.

I think the secondary value of this might depend quite a bit on if folks decide to try to army build it over time, given the extra panels it comes with.

Still not sure the collectors that already have the older versions are going in on this upgrade - given that, I am not sure the old versions will drop too much as I wonder how many folks are truly replacing the older with this version. But if the older ones do drop a bit I might have to see if there is a version I don't have...I have kind of lost track of how many variations of the old ones they released.

I am really surprised this funded, based on how it started. Congrats to the TVC community for making it happen again!

About 800 away from Tier 1 with less than an hour to go. Seems unlikely we’ll even get one tier on this one.

Yeah, the SW team won't learn the right lesson from this. The tiers sucked, but it's still crummy not to get that stuff.

I really want to know who the folks are that decide 3 minutes before the deadline that they want to order a $450 item...

Stayed strong till the end and held off on backing. Not hitting any of the tiers sure helped — not as much as the ridiculous price, though.

I do wonder if there's an international order dump incoming.

Missed the first tier by 224 backers. That's gotta by a disappointment for some folks. I doubt Hasbro decides to add Coleman but they ought to.

Add him loose and I’d be happier! I really hate them including exclusive figures carded as even my opener self can’t bring myself to open them.

Why doesn't Hasbro extend these effing things like they did with Unicron?

If they gave it one more day--one more measly, solitary day--they'd surely get 224 more purchases from folks that spaced it or didn't back because they doubted it would fund. And then, the fans would get their blown-away Jedi figure, and Hasbro would get an extra hundred grand.

Tentative final total:

9,776 / 8,000 (+3,612) 122.20% of funding goal.

Well congrats to those who backed it. You get a nice, albeit expensive, piece that should go way up in value on the secondary market with so few being made. For all we talk about it is still Star Wars and a fairly iconic ship from the prequel era.

Shame that it couldn't get to the first tier but hey it funded and now the only real question left is what will the final total be in a couple days.

Just checking to see if they updated the totals and the page is gone from the site. Hasbro Pulse is so weird.

Edit: Back - still at 9,776 ...

Man so close to that 1st tier! - Ah well, Coleman would have just stayed on the card and lived in a dark box somewhere if he made it anyway - that's how Im telling myself its no big deal lol
