LAAT/i Gunship Haslab

I stayed up for the Rancor last hour and that thing ended only about 10% short or less. I think if it had been given another week they would have gotten over the top, but I think they didn't want to risk it and barely break even...

It will be a shame if this doesn't fund, it is well done and a vehicle that probably many fans of the PT who were kids at the time and couldn't get an original would love to have.

Hopefully they'll add value to the project. Like, maybe more uncarded Clone Troopers so we don't have to destroy the value immediately to pilot the very expensive product correctly?

I despise they make us Sophie's choice the value of a product we've already spent hundreds of dollars on by only including carded figures in HasLabs - I want the Tonnika Sisters displayed, but I'm destroying $300 worth of value with a slice. They could at least include carded and uncarded options for two total dollars more?

Curious what this last fan convention visit will do this weekend. Probably everyone going has already backed haha.

All bets are off now — they've added a pair of sticker sheets to the pot!

I have it on good authority that they will be adding another bonus offering in the base package and one new tier at 9,000.

The new offering added to the base package will be....................patches. Some of these new stickers will also be offered as patches.

Then a new tier unlock at 9,000 and it will be....................bones and a cardboard backdrop.

Once they announce them on Tuesday watch as this skyrockets to the highest total of any Haslab ever.

In theory the stickers make some sense if someone wanted to have multiples of this on display for different trooper units...

The question is how many folks will want to display a few of these...

Or how many can actually afford to buy more than one of them? Still a bit galling, if true, that the focus group around this Haslab was given information that it would be $350, not $450. Again, if true that feels like a bit of a bait and switch. Of course things change and the price is not set in stone, but if I was in that group and saw $350 only to find out it ended up being $450 I would feel a bit ripped off on pricing. Also it seems like a lot of people feel the price isn't worth it considering where it is at right now. Speaking of.........

4,070 / 8,000 (+110) 50.88% of funding goal with 8d 14h left.

Well it is finally past the 50% mark with a little over a week to go. A strong one day gain for a weekend day. All good signs going into the final days, but will there be enough interest?

I could see this pull a Rancor when people realize none of the tiers are getting met and starts loosing backers. Funding at all is still very questionable but I think writing any of the tiers off as possible right now seems the most realistic outcome for them, which only adds to that feeling of unfavorable pricing.

I was wondering how people feel displaying this large Haslab Gunship with the smaller ones they already own. Will it work for them? I have a large AT-AT standing on the floor, but my two smaller AT-ATs aren't standing next to it. They're in the closet.

Not for me, I'd find it odd to have two different sizes of the same vehicle. It is the main reason I really didn't consider this new version, if I ever get around to make a display of the Grand Army of the Republic I'd rather display the three versions I have than just one of these.
