Aw man, dropping down to the +30's now.. Hopefully it continues and surges at the end at least just enough to sneak through. 🤞

Honestly it is not dropping as much as I had expected. Hell the Snow C.A.T. had days with single digit gains, and even one day where it lost backers. This has at least stayed consistent, and while it did have a terrible start I could see it funding, but I don't think all the tiers are likely.

Well there is the first single digit daily gain. This thing just doesn't want to get to 50% funded. Still, forward momentum is forward momentum. I guess.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. I feel like if this thing makes it through, its gong to be by the skin of it's teeth and there will be no tiers met. Todays single digit gain is not a great sign though.
 
Yeah, feeling a bit more panic in this one. Maybe the Snowcat not breaking records has them realizing they need to put a little more effort into this one?
 
It'll be another hard lesson for Hasbro for sure. Research and development doesn't come cheap on these Haslabs.
 
Curious what focus groups, if any, they ran on this. Sounds like the Snowcat focus group got listened to closely and we got Flint and Jaye because of it. This comes off feeling like they didn’t use a focus group based on those tiers. The single loose and single carded pilots feel half baked too.

Where the Snowcat succeeded, IMO, is they gave us a complete adventure in a box. With this, it only highlights what we are missing. We need two pilots for this thing. They kind of did that but with one loose and one carded, they acknowledge people want to keep these carded so we’re short a pilot if we do that. Next, where are the turret ball gunners? They should have been one of the tiers if they didn’t cost out for the base offering. And they keep teasing us about vehicles this can store, one of those, a swoop, should have been a tier. Two bigger tiers that directly enhance the base vehicle vs 3 tiers of random Jedi seems better to me. The Jedi were just there. One was even dead before the gunships arrived so they’re not really enhancing like the SnowCat offerings did.

Biggest thing is the price. It’s hard to say if it’s overpriced or not without insider knowledge of modern toy manufacturing costs. It feels overpriced by a great deal though, especially with tiers unlikely to get met.

This is all "someone who knows someone" type information...

I guess the focus group was shown the Gunship, Y-Wing, Havoc Marauder, and a U-Wing and the Gunship was the winner. They were also told it would be $350...so that really sticks it in and breaks it off a little more.

Again, take with a grain of salt.
 
Interesting. That seems a better price for sure. Wonder the exact reasoning for tacking on an additional $100 since then. Tariffs?

I’m a little surprised that beat out the Marauder as people have been wanting that and the rest of the Bad Batch. Could be they didn’t want the remaining members locked behind a Haslab paywall. Given that concern and the other choices, I would have voted Gunship too.
 
So much for the email blast. Maybe showing it off at Fan Expo in Toronto today will help ...

Interesting to hear the focus group stuff. I wonder how well the gunship would have done in voting if they'd have told folks it was going to be $450. As it is, it's really disappointing to hear that they were promoting it at the more realistic $350 price point. The pics in yesterday's email look great.
