LAAT/i Gunship Haslab

Well now the focus can shift to this project. The question is will there be any benefit to the LAAT now that the Snow C.A.T. is done?

I wonder if a strange thing they could do to help here is to actually announce a release (retailer or fan channel exclusive) of the Wolfman tier that didn’t unlock with the Cantina. They made it very clear only the cardbacks on those tiers were exclusive and the figures could be re-released later. Those Jedi seem very unlikely at the moment and knowing they could still come out on alternative cards may buy some good will. Probably not enough to get this to fund any quicker but it might keep people from canceling.

Mr Stevie’s drawing has certainly got people interested in some of the teases there. It’s literally the focal point of the entire poster so if this doesn’t fund that’s a lot of egg on their face having to pivot.

Im not sure there's much Hasbro can do to save this one at this point. :(

Additional tiers isn't going to work if it's this much of a struggle just to get to the 8k goal. I honestly feel that more should have been included for the asking price, which seems to be the universal consensus on this one. Maybe if they announce that it's going to included a gaggle of troopers & more pilots? Maybe a few different versions of the pilots? IDK, I just don't think the 3 Jedi tiers are anywhere near exciting enough to draw the numbers.

Bummer, cause I backed and really want this one too. The ship looks incredible!

Thanks @Ru1977 - I appreciate that! I kinda took a break from any social media sometime last year, so I stopped posting on the fwoosh and missed all the stuff with that site going down & this one going up. Im glad that there's still a place for toy talk outside of nasty Facebook groups and stuff like that.

I am very glad too, and glad you found this place!

I think more clones could certainly help. I like they are giving us two pilots but hate that one is loose and one carded one two are needed for this ship. I would love them to include carded and loose of all Haslab figures, but in this case 2 loose pilots.

Gunners for the turret balls seems like a logical inclusion here at the base offering. Surprised they didn’t include them to begin with. But I don’t really see them adding anything unless this is critically needed to fund to keep their Battle of Geonosis plans intact.

Still crawling along with no strong indication of which way this will go.

Agreed, I don't see them adding much either. I saw an image that had a "?..." after Agen, so Im assuming their plan was to drop more figures as tiers if they were all met. They did also have the "vehicle fits in the back" tease during a livestream IIRC, so maybe they were planning to add a speeder or AT-RT? But I feel like Hasbro wouldn't have passed on the opportunity to crank out another speeder + figure set for $40.

I haven't been over to some of the Star Wars collecting sites, what is the reaction there? The initial reaction was not one of "boy, this is stupid" anger like the Rancor got but more of "looks good, too expense, have a good enough version already" apathy.

I think that makes it harder to predict if they can get 4,000 backers the last couple of days - either FOMO or deciding "why not?" could push it over the top. Unless there is an active campaign against I am unaware of.

You kind of said it with the rancor, it's seems to be a combination of it's too expensive and it's not special enough to be a Haslab as we already have the earlier version. Mostly, from what I've seen, it's the high price that comes up more often than not.

Some people aren't thrilled with the included figures and tiers but I don't think that's holding it back.

Frankly, there isn't a lot of talk about it overall these days and I haven't seen any kind of campaign against it. I don't think people are mad about it, like the rancor campaign and the tiers. I get the sense many people have already written it off and moved on.
