Kolchak!!

I was hoping for a closer likeness to McGavin, but it's not terrible. Maybe when we see the actual product, it's a bit closer, or at least older looking.

It is annoying that the vampire is locked behind a three-pack — is anyone just going to just pick up the blood-splattered Kolchak? I don't even want one bloody Kolchak. But the press pass sounds cool and I have to support any effort to bring Kolchak to the masses, so that's where I'm at.

It's off to a good start, at least.
 
I was born in 1988 but feel like I still have a pretty knowledgeable grasp of tv, film, and pop culture from the 70's and 80's.

I had no idea that this show existed before today.

I remember the name popping up on the Halloween episode of the Simpsons where Bart raises the zombies.

Are they legit using that base body? If so I'm not even going to hesitate to get Kolchak, at least. The suit bucks I have from Monster Force/Soldiers of Fortune are damned near perfect.

You can get Janos with the blood splattered Carl, so it’s a two pack, apologies if you meant that instead of three pack, while I like the Janos figure the blood splattered Carl doesn’t interest me.

It sure seems like it. They do mention their prototyper being involved with Monster Force. Confirmation would be nice though.

Aside from wishing they cast the hands in flesh-toned plastic instead of painting them, I can say nothing bad about those suit bodies. I hope that's the case cos that'd be a zero-hesitation buy for me for a kickstarter. The joints are SILK.
 
Yeah, eff it, I just backed it for the base Kolchak for now. I may go back and do the three pack instead in a few days but in the very least I want the vampire hunting reporter. As an ex reporter, all I ever wanted in my life was to be a vampire hunting reporter.

He played Arthur Dales, first appearance is in Season 5, "Travelers" - he also has appears in Season 6 "Aqua Mala". Founder may be too strong a word? "Travelers" includes flashbacks to an early case...
