JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

Just got the email for the remainder of the van from Bombusbee, and paid it.

Luckily was able to update my shipping info so it should go to my new place and not the current place we're leaving.

Afraid I can't help you there as I don't own any other 1:18 scale vehicles. I will say, the figures seem to scale slightly larger than 1:18 scale, but this van seems to be closer to true 1:18 scale. It would be about 15' long and to the top of the door would be 6.75' if it existed in the real world. Overall dimensions are approximately 10.5" long, 7" at its widest, and 8" to the top of the spoiler.

Yeah, I don't have mine yet, but I will say that everything I've seen makes it look slightly out of scale on... Realism level. For a style and looking cool with the toys level, I think it's perfect.

But it does really look cramped whenever you put the turtles in the front and especially all four in the back.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to put all of them in one spot. One in the front with April or Splinter, one in the back, one behind the turret, and one on the platform - perfect. One thing I don't like is the turtles basically can't sit with their weapons holstered so it would have been cool if there was a spot in the van itself for weapon storage. You can put Mike and Raph's weapons in the tool box, but Leo and Donnie are just going to have to drop theirs on the floor.

Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady all have pre-orders available on LT Cave for re-issues.

I've sold my lot, so I am going to have to live vicariously through you all on this line.

So this thread better start getting pic heavy real soon, or else the money I'm saving on these figures will be spent on airplane tickets to personally fly to all of your houses and issue severe titty twisters.

To you AND your wives.

You have been warned.

I finally got around to snapping a few pics of the van yesterday. I do love it. I kind of like the grapple gun attachment, but I have to go with the platform for the display for now. When I find a place to put it, anyway.
