Ah. They did the eyes again? I found that a little off putting. They came out kind of sex doll.
 
Welp. We finally get a Rosalina action figure, and she has those weird eyes. Still getting her, though! She looks great apart from that.
 
At local mom and pop toy store, I came across a 4” figure I had no idea existed - Pom Pom? A pink female version of Boom Boom but with a boomerang. Needless to say, I picked her up. What game is she from?
 
Think her first appearance was in Super Mario 3D Land? That figure is actually pretty hard to come by. For whatever reason, it seems like it got way under produced, even compared to the other figures in that wave. She didn't show up at Target or Walmart. Just Meijer and maybe a handful of online retailers. Even GameStop got in the rest of that wave but none of her.
 
I saw her once and should have grabbed her, I did the same to Wendy. Thats what I get for being wishy washy on this line.
 
Picked up the movie Rosalina just now. I had no idea about the movie wave but I was told I just missed Yoshi. Sad. He has his goggles.

I don't like that they kept with this glassy realistic eye thing, but whatever they did looks less sex dollish. However, because it's got like a prism cut rosalina's single eye looks weird from a lot of angles. But whatever. I got her because they don't have a Daisy, and those two are my troll picks when people want me to play any of the Mario action games. I mean I love them, but boy people really hate Daisy's voice.

That would be sick.

I did see they had a 12-in princess peach doll but I didn't look too closely. Am I really selling all my other figures just to get a princess peach doll.
 
My local Wal-Mart had the whole Mario Galaxy Movie display out today. All I really wanted was Yoshi with his disguise, and luckily, they had 1 left. So, I grabbed it. I love Yoshi, and he looks so cool in his hat and glasses.

As far as the regular Jakks Nintendo figures, I still haven't come across Birdo at GameStop or Wal-Mart. Anyone find Birdo in the wild yet?
 
Got the movie Rosalina, Yoshi, and Bowser Jr.

I really, REALLY like the Rosalina, even though she's a statue below the waist. The other two are fine, but I can not get Jr to hold his paintbrush for the life of me. The articulated fingers are useless.

The funniest part of all for me is the featured "realistic eyes" on all of the packaging. And as far as I can tell, only Rosalina has the weird clear eye lense thing going on. Yoshi might, but it definitely isn't pulled off to the same effect, and Jr absolutely doesn't.
