I'm betting this is right.

My definitive ranking of Scooby-Doo characters:
  1. Shaggy
  2. Scooby
  3. Velma
  4. Daphne
  5. Fred
 
Frank Welker being the one and only Fred all of these years (pup named Scooby Doo and the Scoob and live action movies aside) has always impressed me. So I’m looking forward to Fred too.
 
I too am a Fred fan. As a kid watching Scooby I always enjoyed the parts of the show that followed Fred, Daphne, and Velma when they split up much more than the parts with Scooby and Shaggy. I admired bravery a lot so Scooby and Shaggy were quite honestly kind of lame to me as a kid. I like them a lot more now though than I did back then.
 
Wave 3 looks really good. But I want Scooby. I know he's coming, but I want Scoobert Doo ASAP. I really hope this line does go far enough we can get Scrappy Doo and Scooby Dum. That would be epic.
 
Honestly, I like all 5 members of the gang, but I had such a huge crush on Daphne as a kid and I always wanted a figure of her, so besides Scooby and Shaggy, she's my most wanted. She looks fantastic! I wonder what she'll come with... maybe some books, or ancient keys, or what?
 
Fred is my least favorite EXCEPT for in Mystery Incorporated, where he is goddamn epic and easily the best character in any version of Scooby-Doo.

I wish these figures were easy to casually stumble across. I don't want to seek them out or preorder them. But if I spotted them in the aisles, they'd be a definite impulse buy. This latest wave with Daphne and the two bad guys look so good. It's crazy to me how these seemingly nameless antagonists look so iconic and memorable. And it's mind blowing that they're getting quality action figures.

EDIT: WAITASEC - they're $30 apiece? Forget it. Still nice, but not even a casual impulse buy.

Hasbro 6” figures are $28 now so… yeah.
 
$30 are fine for the Mystery Gang for me. I'd prefer $20-$25, but $30 is fine.

I sorta weigh action figure purchases on "How much is the character and look worth to me?". The Mystery Gang is kinda an essential thing to have, so $30 is something I'll do, but I wouldn't do that for most of the monsters.
