Jada Toys Scooby Doo

Ohh hell yeah. Was just wondering yesterday if we'd see more at NYCC. I was thinking Cutler might be out of the question for wave 3, since we got an aquatic monster for wave 2, but I'm not at all mad; he's one of my favs. Really like the execution of the seaweed, so you can kinda decorate him however you want. Charlie, too, has really grown on me lately, and it's nice to see they're still giving him articulation; I know he does kinda bend at times in the show, but he's mostly stiff. Wonder what they'll give him in place of the unmasked head, though. I'd love a Scooby head in a barrel like in the opening credits, but that feels a little "deluxe".

There definitely is some stylization going on, which I neither love nor hate. The Mummy in wave 1 was different than the one on the packaging, and Spooky Space Kook does look a little different in wave 2. Here they seem to be taking some liberties as well, with Charlie almost blending the original show with the Scooby Doo and Guess Who look for Charlie.

I know wave 1 is still trickling out, but I hope we see pre-orders for wave 2 soon. Really excited for 2 and 3, and to see where it goes from here. Glad they're throwing in some of the more iconic monsters with the gang members that may not sell quite as well as Shaggy and Scooby.

Captain Cutler holds a special place in my heart. I remember renting a VHS with that episode on it, and I had to turn it off, because I was sure he was going to kill Shaggy and Scooby.

Velma is the figure I'm least excited for (and Fred the one I'm most excited for), so that's one thing.

But also, before SDCC I gave my friend Madcap a prediction for the exact order I believed the gang members would come out in, that being Shaggy -> Scooby -> Daphne -> Fred -> Velma. I'm waiting patiently to find out if my predictions were correct.
