Had a feeling it would be Fred. Yay!

I actually really like his scared face. It’s so fun! I’m sure his neutral expression will be even better, though.

Daphne’s face looks wider than the digital render, but she looks so much better in the images posted on Toyark.

They also fixed Funland Robot’s face. They gave him a metallic, glossy paint job compared to what we saw at NYCC.

Not the best face, but I'm pretty sure they're all coming with at least one other head sculpt, so I'll wait to reserve judgement until we see the more neutral one. I'm sure this is just a prototype too, so the final product will be a bit different. Could also be a translation to 3D; I remember when I saw the characters in some of the old video games it looked a little jarring at first.

But he looks great otherwise! He seemed like the next logical choice. Excited to hear what villains he releases with. The shiny updates to Charlie look really good too! Hopefully it won't be another year and a half for wave 3 to solicit
 
I never use the expressive faces so really hoping the assumed neutral face for Fred is better. Otherwise he and Daphne look fantastic.
 
Hopefully they show off a few more figures in the coming days! It's been like a year since they showed anything new, at least they should show off Velma!

Fred looks great. Daphne too, although her face is a bit too wide now. But Jada is infamous for changing and changing their prototypes until release, they're always tweaking their headsculpts.
 
Tomorrow will be their panel, I'm fully expecting Velma to show up there. Seems Jada has a new license upcoming as well?
 
I'm hoping that Daphne, Fred and the robot are Wave 3. It would be nice to get 2 gang members in one wave, rather than one at a time.

Unless they changed it, wave 3 is Daphne, Ghost of Captain Cutler, and Charlie the Funland Robot. Their plan is 1 gang member and 2 monsters per wave. Which feels correct; I may be a bit bias, since I love the monsters, but I feel like we wouldn't get as many if they prioritized the gang. It's a good way to keep people coming back; the only danger is, of course, the line ending before the full gang makes it out, but that's feeling less likely (positive thoughts).

I'm not too worried about Fred. The Daphne they showed off at the last couple cons was a prototype, and they made it clear then that she was missing some things- paint, articulation, etc. Regarding Velma, I think at most we'd see a render, but hopefully they'll have some monsters to show off for Fred's wave at least. I'm feeling either the Black Knight Ghost, Redbeard, or Witch Doctor, but I wouldn't turn down a couple Green Ghosts (though those feel more like Velma monsters, oddly enough, and also a release they'd want to take their time on to get right).
