Jada Street Fighter

That’s fun - headsculpt is great for that pose. Throw in a neutral fighting head too and it’s a cool set.

I’m pretty pleased with the three reveals - would have picked someone other than Guy, but I can’t argue with a wave of all-new characters, and I’ll be in for them all. Hope they can keep up the momentum for future waves.

So I picked up a couple of Storm Arena figures on a whim to mix and match with the Jada stuff and I have some regrets. I actually really liked Storm's Sagat look better online, and I think he has a more substantial, interesting look in hand, but he's got a rubber chest overlay which I really don't love. I almost wish the Jada version had a bit more richness to its colors like Storm but I like Jada's construction better in this case.

I got Ken too and wouldn't you know it, I got a factory defect the bottom of his ponytail on his neutral head is missing completely. I've never in all these years had to talk to BBTS about a return and almost don't want to bother, but it's just such an annoyance to not get all the parts actually included with something like Storm Collectibles. I could just use the smirking head and move on, but the perfectionist in me is super irritated by it. But I'm also VERY lazy about returns.

I really like the Storm knees and elbows because they're so much smoother than Jada, but I think Jada will hold up on the shelf better over the course of years, so I think I'll stick mostly if not entirely with the Jada figures going forward.
 
@docsilience. Thank you for your comparison on the Jada vs Storm Arena lines. I've been trying to decide what I'm going to collect for this IP. I've purchased everything that Jada has put out so far and am quite happy with those. I've only got Dan and Nash in hand from the Arena line and I really like them too. However I've got the Arena Ken, Ryu and Sagat sitting paid for in my Pile of Loot and am considering cancelling for store credit. I've also got Arena Akuma, Chun-Li and Zangief pre-ordered. I just don't need to collect two lines for an IP that isn't really even a priority for me. (I'm mostly a comic figure guy). I'd be interested to hear thoughts and perspectives of others that have figures of both in hand. Thank you!

Let me know if you'd have any interest in comp pics - I've got Ryu, Ken, and Sagat from Arena and I'm all in on Jada's SF2. I'd almost say Storm is more VIBRANT but Jada is more TOYETIC? It's tough cos both lines are very nice. Jada wins by cranking out the whole cast so fast and so well for SF2 for me, TBH.
