Jada Mega Man

Oddly enough (perhaps not) I just found my old Bandai figures while looking for something else and put my Guts and Bomb with the Jada figures. Funny how I thought these were a lot bigger than they actually are. Guts is just a smidge taller than Fire/Cut. These new guys are huge.

Surprised at the $35 (+$10 shipping) price of the Mettal set. I expected it to be considerably more. If I can snag a set I can skip the new Mega as a bonus.
 
I didn't get the six pack when I was ordering the SF figures but man, I'm still tempted and they look to still be in stock...
 
Probably going to need that Rush, provided he’s not in a two-pack with Mega Man.
 
While posting pics in the checklist I noticed Bubble Man actually has clear plastic on his diving mask. I thought it was going to be just the frame of the mask. :LOL: Don't know how I missed it, it's so obvious.

Definitely picking up Rush. I low-key love Jada's release style - I never feel overwhelmed or pressured to buy too much. They put out JUST enough from this line to make it fun.
 
Welp, with Jada METs & now a Jada Rush, I officially have ZERO reason to keep my D-Arts set!

Of course, BECAUSE of Jada, now I won't be able to sell the fuckin' D-Arts set... 😅
 
So I may have been a bit harsh. Thinking about it and now, I no longer think Wave 3 Mega is overpriced. If instead of the Met we got a static pack-in, like a 3rd head, I'd expect the price to go up $5 since the set includes all the count/type of pieces from Wave 1 Mega. Not to mention industry people tell us the head is the most expensive part of an action figure. Since the Met consists of articulated feet and removable helmet it seems fair that would raise the price even more being there are at least 4 separate molds.

I am curious if the price for Proto Man & Snake Man might actually drop down--not necessarily back to $20--if they are considered more basic figures, or if releasing W3M is a strategic ploy to get us used to paying a higher standard. Perhaps the regular (MM scale) sized figures will come with other smaller figures w/minimal articulation (if any) from the games. We already know GL Mega will come with Penpen which may have articulated wings, feet and/or beak.

That's not all to say I'm no longer looking for deals on this line whenever possible. ;)

Wave 5 is the EXACT line-up I've wanted from this series for a while. Two robot masters, then a main character. Roll, Bass, Light, Cossack, Wily, Tango, Treble, etc.

The latest Toymigos interview has stated that they're unsure what direction they'll be headed following finishing the set of Megaman 1 Robot Masters. I do hope they jump around for some variety, though!
 
So far, I only own 1 Megaman. He's super fun, but I'm not really collecting this line. That being said, I will be getting Rush, and if they ever do Roll or Dr Light, I'll grab them too.
 
I'm in for all the different-colored Megas for now and Rush. Seems like I'm in the minority being more interested in Mega repaints than Robot Masters. But further than that, I want X, Zero, Vile, and MegaMan.EXE from MMBN would be a huge want.
