Inart 1/12 DC Figures

I can't decide about Arkham Origins Bats.

Because it's Batman, I can probably justify having three Batmen in my collection. Two of them will undoubtedly be LPZZ's Hush figure and the LPZZ/Inart (can't remember which) White Knight. Is Origins really special enough to warrant a spot in my collection?

I don't mind having a gargantuan figure as a one-off in my display. It's more about the costume. It's so tactical, which is the exact opposite of what I look for in a superhero.

I might just buy it. If it's a rental piece, so be it. It's such a gorgeous figure.
I'm not really into the tactical look either. I recently played and completed Blackgate and was dismayed at the costume options in that game, but this figure just looks like such a quality piece and combine that with the Dark Knight Rises Batman and I just have this odd compulsion to add it to my collection. I'd love to see them attempt a more traditional Batman at some point in the future.

I've never played Blackgate. How was it.

Usually I feel the same about superhero looks, but with Batman I think there's a preference for a bit of an armoured look, without going over the top. For example, I don't really like the Bale batsuits, especially Dark Knight/Rises, but the Hush version doesn't really appeal to me either.

I think Lee Bermejo's design is my favourite (the version with the separate cowl/bat symbol) because it looks padded without being a full suit of armor. The Origins design is similar, more like something that I can see someone building, rather than the kind of high-tech armored look of Arkham Knight.

It would be great if one of these companies could do a Bermejo Batman, but in the absence of that, I'll take the Arkham designs! Although I didn't realise LPZZ were doing White Knight, which might mean they're exploring some different styles.

It's okay. Basically a side-scrolling Metroidvania type of game, though it is that 2.5D perspective so there are some foreground/background elements. I wanted an excuse to use my Vita again so that's why I recently gave it a shot. Plays almost exactly like any other Arkham game, minus the freedom of movement. The map kind of sucks and there's lots of backtracking and some of the foreground/background stuff can get clunky, but I thought it was fine. It was about an 8 hour game for me with no real incentive to replay it.
