Inart 1/12 DC Figures

On the one hand...they look amazing.

On the other hand...I'm skeptical of them using some sort of latex over the joints on Superman and Batman. Hot Toys does that, and because they do it nobody leaves those joints in poses lest the skin crack off. Aren't people going to end up doing that with these InArt figures that do that in twelfth scale? That's one of the main reasons I don't buy Hot Toys already.

So those are a hard pass until I get some sort of assurances about how they did this skin overlay. Hard to imagine I'll buy those for now. Matt Reeves Batman and Catwoman appear to have exposed joints so I'm sure I'll get those, although again I'm already so happy with Mafex The Batman I don't know that I need it at all. But even Mafex Catwoman 2.0 has some issues so I'm sure this InArt version will be a noticeable upgrade.

Wow, the pics of The Patman are kind of blowing me away, the joint work looks incredible for 1:12 and the colours/textures of the suit are light years ahead of anyone else's to date.

I was just browsing this thread, as I rarely look at the DC stuff (mainly because McFarlane does not do it for me, with a few exceptions) and found this amazing Nolan Batman you all are talking about. Based solely on everones recommendations and pics I had to order two, one for my buddy and one of myself.
Only after I ordered did I watch Robo's review video and am now even more excited I pulled the trigger on this.
As he said in the video, I was not looking or nor did I think I needed another Nolan Batman, but then this showed up.
Thanks everyone for posting about this.

I've heard that what they showed is just the sculpt, meaning they still need to cut in the articulation. So these won't be silicon or whatever, they'll have normal joints like the rest of the line.

This figure is amazing! The detail is just next level! Honestly cannot believe the Bale sculpt they were able to pull off at this scale.

The Batman shown at SDCC looks phenomenal as well.

Honestly, I am all in for TDK trilogy stuff and whatever they do from The Batman as well. Then bring on the new DCU! (I know, gotta let the 1/6 Superman have a bit of breathing room first). Would be cool to see some classic figures as well, like Reeve Superman, his villains, and Keaton's Batman and all the 90s villains as well!

I keep kicking around the idea of buying high end for Batman movie representation but no one wants to do Kilmer or Clooney, meaning I'm always going to have those two holes. Guess I gotta stick with flawed-but-good-enough-for-what-it-is Todd for this one and keep a few hundred in my pocket.

Apparently TDKR Selina is going up for pre-order soon. Will be very happy to get her (and Bane, Crane, and Harvey, if they do them too) as I missed out on the Mafex 2.0, and ever since have longed for it like Galadriel and the ring. Especially if the Anne sculpt is as good as their Bale one.

I had every single Mafex at one point. Multiple Bale Batmans (since they did different variation add-ons). Same with Joker, multiple versions. I had a Crane AND Scarecrow, a Dent AND TwoFace, coated Bane, coatless Bane...the Batpod...

...and sold them.

Why? "Oh, McFarlane will do 'em! And do 'em better!".

Psh. Fool.
