Inart 1/12 DC Figures

I can't belive how cheap this guy is.

Where are you finding him cheap? He sold out on Nerdzoic at $113 for deluxe and $93 standard.

All of the reviews claimed he would be $40 standard and $59 deluxe, but I have yet to see him anywhere CLOSE to those prices. The issue is that maybe he's that much if you live in China, but that's the only region Inart can sell him so he's much more expensive to anyone who lives anywhere else.

Oh, I haven't actually looked. I just remember what the reviews said. If he's more expensive, that will make this easier on me.

I put in a preorder at Bombusbee — $15 deposit with a $74.99 price for the deluxe version. Had a couple good references for the site.

I saw that too. I actually went through the checkout process with a couple different items of similar size and it's ... weird. Here's what I ended up with for a 1:12 skull-headed Captain America (?) The air shipping was free a lot of times. Doubt it will be that way for Bats but I didn't run into anything outrageous. I'm honestly just hoping for $10-$15.

If anyone gets any updates on this figure and when it ships please do share. I'm guessing the Chinese tariffs will pretty much kill most of us getting it in the US since Inart is in Hong Kong and isn't allowed to sell outside of Asia, but hopefully someone finds a way to circumvent the tariffs.

I think if a retailer in a country outside of China starts selling it we can get it, but it has to either be a country DC licensed Inart to sell to or a country that doesn't care about licensing at all. China is the main country that respects no licensing or intellectual property laws from other countries, but there might be others that don't. I think Japan does, and that's why I'm guessing the Japanese retailers aren't selling this figure--but I'm hoping I'm wrong about that and some of the Japanese retailers start offering Inart.

Bombusbee just notified me that Batman's about to arrive and I have to pay up. Thankfully shipping is reasonable, too — $15 for air, which is covered by the deposit I already paid.

So far, so good.

Same, I also ordered from Bombusbee and got an invoice overnight. Price is $80 and shipping to Virginia is $11 so the total is $91.

I'm curious about what's happening with tariffs, but my guess is that on small packages there's no real way to enforce them and the vast majority of individual under-$800 packages will just ship and ignore tariffs entirely. But I guess I'll know the real answer to the China-to-America dilemma when and if I get Batman in hand. I still haven't seen any clear answer anywhere about how US Customs was ever going to collect those tariffs on sub-$800 items, and given how Trump operates I'm sure he neither knew nor cared how or even if it could or would ever happen as long as he still gets to act tough in front of the cameras.

Yep, just got the same email! So excited! Has there been any word on their next 1/12 DC offering?

I'm still waiting on an invoice from onesixthkit. From my experience, they aren't always the fastest at sending an invoice. They're charging a $5 per kg tariffs fee.
