Honestly, I'm just waiting for the Fresh Monkey Fiction general to come out. He comes with a Ross head.

I've got him on preorder. I really don't see Hasbro ever doing him. I don't think Hulk is enough of a priority for them to start throwing in civilian types.
 
Yeah, I too have that bad boy on preorder, and have since like, 2023. Still, I would absolutely love it if Hasbro were to release a Ross proper.

Ross would be a great BAF for a wave.

Is that Fresh Monkey Fiction default head based on an actor? He looks just like one whose name I can't remember - but that is his face.
 
Hasbro hasn't actually made a Smart Hulk yet, have they?

It does. Oversized images scale down to post width. No more wonky pages because someone posted a weird image.
 
I didn't think I needed a Hulk retro wave til I read through this thread. I need a modern Doc Sampson figure (mechanics-wise, not which comic book appearance they pick). A-Bomb, RICK JONES FFS. I want a Thunderbolt and Betty two pack. I need a Red She-Hulk on the modern She-Hulk body.
 
Thunderbolt Ross was definitely on my mind when I made my post. Would go nicely with the Bruce Banner we got in the anniversary 2pk. I also wouldn’t mind a gray Hulk that’s smaller.

He definitely bears a strong resemblance to an old Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed, Dillon, Greef Karga).
 
I definitely went to “big bruisers” who might need deluxe packaging when I made my list, with Samson being a possible exception. And yeah, more than almost anyone but Spidey, Hulk needs “civilian” figures (although several of those “civilians” are military). If I were to make a single-card, non-deluxe wave of Hulk-adjacent figures, it would be:
1. Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross
2. Betty Ross
3. Glen Talbot
4. Gargoyle
5. Leader (with classic and testicular heads)
6. Ringmaster of the Circus of Crime
 
Ah, Carl Weathers it is! Yes. And duh. :) Greef Karga is on my shelf with that exact expression.
