Hulk Deluxe/Retro Wave

Seriously considering this for the first Hulk purchase ever. I haven't seen a version done before with a headsculpt that matched my idea of the Hulk (either Marvel Legends or otherwise), but these ones look pretty great, especially the MvC one.

Professor Hulk has also coincidentally shown up in the era of Doctor Strange that I'm reading at the moment, which is cool...

Plus, I'm pretty sure I've got a spare mini gun that would go great with this.

I'm fortunate to still have the Toy Biz version that came with Gremlin and I think that it mostly still holds up.

I've seen different leaked list rumors about both a Cosmic Hulk and a Mecha Hulk, but they might actually be the same thing. You might remember Marvel Select offering a mechanical robot head as Cosmic Hulk in the last Hulk figure that they did. I bought that and it's great. However Dave at Displaying Model Behavior recently talked about a blue Cosmic Hulk. That sounds more like Captain Universe (the Uni-Power) possessing the Hulk.

It will be interesting to see what this leak turns out to be (if it's accurate).

There are lots of Hulk characters that I want, but of course none of those are showing up on leaked lists. The U-Foes, Bi-Beast, Zzzax, Lyra, Red King, the Warbound, Rick Jones, Glenn Talbot, etc.
 
Why make new characters when you can just reuse Hulk tooling from seven years ago?

My money's on Cosmic/ Mecha Hulk like the Select figure. Easy reuse, with cool options for mechanized alt parts to jazz it up. High "cool factor" for casual collectors/ fans as "Terminator Hulk."

At the MSRP this line-up is starting at - $46.99 - I'm thinking it might have been a good idea to make these two-packs and include all of the above.

I don't know who should go with who, but those three plus a Bruce who can stand would have been great to include. At $55.99 or even the Medusa price point of $62.99 - which is still absurd - but why not get more out at the same time?

I just finished watching the reveal video - the end made me laugh. I was wondering why he looked so mad - great.

Is War Horseman Hulk on the docket with the upcoming Apocalypse figure on the horizon? I don't want it personally but it would be amusing as the shrieking intensified that a spot in the line was given to that figure instead of something else.

What wrong with the Mecha-Hulk from the Incredible Hulk classics toy line from 2004? That figure is in need of need an update.

Hard agree. (Well, maybe not Maestro,
i can live with the one we have). Stick Tyrannus, Madman and Psyklop on the list too.

Hulk has so many villains, both huge and normal sized, that need a shot at plastic. I have a little grumble when people ask for a new Abomination or Leader. In 5 years, sure, but let some other characters get a look in first.

Piecemeal would be an awesome figure to get. :D Especially his first cover appearance. Maybe have Man-Bull, too, since he fought the hulk, and would be an easy reuse of the Hulk body, with a different head sculpt.
 
You think Samson might come with Smart Hulk's giant gun to justify his price point? I assume Samson will probably be on the new Gladiator body, so how do you charge 45 dollars for that? Giant gun.
 
They do multiple price points on the other retro packaging options so no reason they can’t do it here. But, I still think there’s a decent chance that the other two are big guys (Hulk 2099 and Cosmic/Mecha Hulk) and Samson comes in a similar way as Red She-Hulk.
