Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

Hmm. Still not sure on these. Definitely more interested in 1/12 than the smaller ones.

It's not like this needs to be a big, ongoing line anyway but I'll take Quorra and Sam, a Kevin in white, Clu, Tron and Kevin's old school lightcycle in a heartbeat. Hell, I'd even go for a Castor and Gem too if they bother before calling it a day.

I agree, without the two tone black/gray and white/light gray, and without the lights the costumes had, they're fairly drab. Probably the best we could get for figures, though.

Someone mentioned these would be pulse exclusive. If they are then I'm out, not by choice but by unavailability. Pulse doesn't ship to my country.

Quorra looks good except her hair looks too textured. It's a sleek bob of straight hair with some flippies on either side - it shouldn't have so much texture between strands, it should be smooth like the Stepford Cuckoos.

Kinda kills it.

Tron:

1,037 / 10,000 (+11) 10.37% of funding goal with 31d 20h left.

As to the 6" Legacy line, the more I see of them the more I dislike them. Really the original Legacy line is more than fine and frankly looks better to me. Also how can Hasbro, who does all sorts of role play items in ML and SW not at least have an identity disc as part of this release? I mean the ones they did for the original line were pretty good for what they were and a new version with some better electronics would be a welcome addition.

So sure, this isn't happening but isn't this a better use of the crowd funding format than, say, projects that for sure have a loyal and/or decent sized fanbase and would so had a chance to have worked at regular retail anyway?

Your giant figures and playsets, your boutique/niche one off ideas, I feel like these are things that are a much better use of the Haslab format, throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. If people go for it, great, if they don't, no harm no foul.

HasLab as a concept is a dream we've longed for since the 80s: no interference from the retailers.

HasLab as a execution is insulting garbage. Just let a dude put a goddamned pre-order in for shit like you do for every other goddamned product you fuckwits make. Can we *not* with all the dog-n-pony show horseshit with the funding levels and participation numbers and unlocked items? You're a goddamned billion-dollar company, you flat-the-fuck simply do not have any excuse for this 'fundraising' horseshit.

My personal issue is that they're always a "we're producing it once and NEVER again" type deal... if aftermarket is insane enough on this product, wouldn't it just be lost money not to bring it back? Now with the made to order model, that should be even easier to pull off.

That's why I like McFarlane's method of this type of deal. The current Margo Robbie Harley Quinn for example has 4 options: basic Harley with a baseball bat, a "deluxe" version with MORE accessories, the next level is level 2 WITH a Leto Joker for around $15 more, and then the fourth version has all of that PLUS another Harley figure, in a more modern comic color scheme for only $20 more than level 3. You choose the level you want to back, but it ALL goes toward the funding level.

I definitely want the 6” Tron figures. Loved “Rinzler”.

I feel like the light cycles should have been retail or fan channel. Make a Recognizer with a floating display base as the Haslab.
