When I saw the price I assumed they went 6" for the Haslab.

They are asking a lot of fans at that price point - granted the sculpting on the Haslab looks phenomenal for 3 3/4" - but they needed to figure out how to do that for $199, or at least give me all 4 color lightcycles we saw in the film.

Wow. Couple hours in and it is only at 236 backers. Most successful Haslabs are over 1,000 backers in the first couple hours.

While I like what I see the price is ridiculous and I don't think there is anywhere near 10,000 people willing to pay that price. Overall I still like the Tron: Legacy line from when the movie came out. Don't see much here I would want at the asking price.

I think it would have been better to go the route Spinmaster did with their recent 3.75" Superman figures. Cheap offerings that look good. Not pretty good offerings at ridiculous prices.

You may not even need to bother to track this one.

I predict less than 2,500 backers. This is going the way of Cookie Monster in that I doubt it will even get close to funding.

I wonder how much Hasbro may fudge its numbers? I can’t imagine they plopped down for that license and then not make the toys they paid to make. Unless the license was a beg from Disney to spark some interest in the new film? I don’t see that Haslab funding either.

The Haslab may not fund, but those 6 inch figures do look pretty good. I know Legacy was more divisive than the original, though, so it may have been a smart bet to mix in some OG Tron figures into the 6 inch line as well. Diamond Select's offerings were pretty good, but I'll never turn down better articulation.

I do have quite a soft spot for Tron but for the price, that Haslab ain't it. If you're going to do a set like that then you should go all in with it, include Ram, a couple of warriors, a red bike, some kind of nod to the MCP, etc.

It's a real shame because Yori and the bikes look great.

As for the Legacy 6", cautiously in depending on how quick they show us Quorra. Also a Castor/Zuse and Gem wouldn't go amiss either.

Yeah I am tempted to skip it, but I do enjoy following the Haslabs. Also it will probably be a bit macabre following a walking dead Haslab as it lurches towards a sad ending. Of course that is just my prediction. It could surprise me and fund, but I don't see that happening. Also interesting to see it doesn't have any tiers.

I saw the the count go from 2 to 0, and it sat at 0 for what felt like an uncomfortably long time. I was temporarily distracted at work.

I think once that priced out at over $250, they needed to think about going all in as you say and do something exhaustive with a few more figures, a tank, Recognizer (big but pretty basic), etc. The MCP could basically just be a plastic cylinder, but it would add some heft to the set.

This might be one of those cases where you pile it on as a one-and-done collection and it might sell, even at a crazy price like $500.

I feel like the hobby has gotten weird that five 1:18 scale figures and a couple of small vehicles could even be considered viable at $250 set.
