Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

That was my thinking too- they may just cancel the Legacy figures, which would be a shame. The movie is a fun guilty pleasure, and I think some figures would be fun. But if they were too afraid to commit to an entire Indiana Jones movie because of its reception, I can totally see them chickening out on a franchise that has far less of a dedicated fanbase. The HasLab may have been them testing the waters a bit, and its failure, along with Ares bombing, might mean they think there's no market for them. Hopefully they'll get at least a small, Pulse-only release, if nothing else.

The only guarantee is that both Hasbro will learn all the wrong lessons, and then apply that wrong learning poorly.

Going back to the pricing issue because bears are only there to be poked; I'm gonna have to reiterate how this HasLab really isn't over-priced for what the modern toy market is providing us:

6 available, 14 sold. That's 3/5ths the price of the HasLab for 50-60% of the product, not including the articulation deficiencies S7 figures have.

Unfortunately I’m not a vehicle or display base collector, so about half of this lot is no use to me, if they’d have just given the option to get the figures then I’d have got them.

Ehhhh....sorry, I just don't think those are worth anywhere close to the asking price. Using Super7 as an example isn't the best either, since pretty much everything they do is ridiculously overpriced. They sell their ReAction figures for a huge markup, offering what should be a $10-$15 figure for anywhere from $20-$25. To me, these sets SHOULD be priced at around $20 for a 5 POA figure with a light cycle...and that is being generous.

So the argument that this isn't overpriced, against all the available lines out in the world to compare to; is to compare it to a Super7 toy from a Disney Park. An overpriced amusement park selling an exclusive product made by -famously- the most greedy, overpriced toy company. Yep. You got us there. If only there were thousands of other comparable products from the actual company making this specific product. Oh well, wish in one hand and shit in the other, they say.
