I got the X-23 at Disney World of all places because it was numbered 2 out of the production. I don't know how serious people take those numbers, but I just felt being at Disney World who owned Marvel, maybe there was something to it being number 2.

Plus it's just a baller statue.

Was this the one where she's holding the saw blade? I liked the curly hair version more, the straight haired one to me looked too much like Fergie for some reason. I preordered XM's Gambit, had to import it obviously as they don't sell directly to the US market, $1500 bucks when all was said and done. Figured it'd be my BEST Gambit and I'd never need another. a few months later Sideshow came out with their cajun and it was a massive "awwwww $#!t" moment and I know I'd already paid for this behemoth only to like a $700 dollar one even more.

It's probably my biggest collector shameful moment, but they both look good for different reasons.

Omg the Dagger pisses me off so much because the arc/spray makes no sense to me.

My mistake, the 450 one was the Sideshow Mark Brooks Spider-Gwen.

My Rogues are the Kotobukiya Danger Room and Bowen made at the time Modern Rogue with the scarf. I want the XM, but not that much.

Oh yeah, I have the Kotobukiya Colossus, brown Wolverine (yellow was like limited and $800 forever), and Gambit. They were my "best statues" until I discovered XM, but now XM overengineers their costumes to look more technical than they need be. So I went with Sideshow for a while because they got better, the looks were more classic, and the price was more reasonable. The Kotobukiya Rogue and Storm I don't see as much so I think they were produced in lesser quantities.

The XM Iceman is pretty cool too, just not going to spend 1k+ on him for what it is.

The Iron Studios 1/10 Iceman is surprisingly good for what it is if you want a semi-classic Bobby that's a smaller size. Like the figures, he's rarely ever done right.

Ok, I might've bought the haslab and the new sentinel, and I might get another sentinel at the new price... but I draw the line at eight grand.

One of my biggest regrets ever is not picking up that bitchin’ Tomb of Dracula statue that kicked around for a while.

Re: action features . . . I found them enraging, especially since I was weaned on SuperPowers where action features didn’t impede sculpt or articulation. I never bought the ToyBiz Sentinel: I was in high school and it felt like a “kids toy” and not an “action figure” to me, and not worth the immense shit I would have gotten from my mom for having it because it would have been difficult to hide.

Re: the new Sentinels . . I am frustrated. FedEx said they left Romeoville on the 16th, and they were scheduled for Friday delivery. Well, Friday came and went with no update or change of status, and now today the “arrow” on the FedEx tracking turned back into a pre-shipping “box”, and it says “delivery updated” . . . but there is no update, just that they left Romeoville on the 16th still. This is for both separate shipments of each sentinel I ordered. I’m sure it’s fine, just some kind of delay . . . but I don’t like it. Never seen anything quite like this from FedEx.

I'm missing a second one still that was supposed to arrive today. It's still showing Illinois. I'm not gonna worry about it for now as it's 3 days before Christmas so invariably it's trapped under someone's 8lb fruit cake on the plane that's transporting Del Griffith to Chicago.

If it doesn't show up by the week starting after New Year then my spidey sense can tingle.

Ironically that's what a new Honda cost in 1991. I'd rather pilot the Sentinel but I think the Honda is probably still going at this point.
