Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

Here at the Silverback Skunk-Fu Training Facility and Fancy Feline Sanctuary, we're torn. If I want to add him into my F4 display, I'm going to need to reorganize everything to a bigger shelf. If I want to add him to my Avengers display, same issue. Basically, this chunky mf is necessarily going to catalyze an extensive reorganization effort regardless of where he ends up. And then we have Shuma/Gargantos coming hot on his heels. I may actually have to invest in a 4th display cabinet.
Talk about the dog catching the car.

*Sigh* First world problems...

Not a question we can answer without a lot more information, but it sounds like you're running out of space so based upon that I can make an assumption. Dragon Man is at BEST a C-list Fantastic Four villain. I'd always prioritize displays with that team featuring most other FF villains besides this one, but if you can fit him somewhere into the back then he's well worth putting there.

I mean... Dragon Man was a full on member of the Future Foundation so he 100% belongs on the FF shelf for me. If we are actually getting more figs of the team in their Future Foundation u iforms, so much the better. Hopefully I can also get figures of Alex and Katie Power in their foundation duds.

Luckily my FF shelf has plenty of headroom since Galactus is on it already, so Dragon Man fits in fine.

And leave us not forget that Dragon Man made his first appearance in Fantastic Four.

I dunno, I know he's appeared in a bunch of different books over the years, but I've always thought of Dragon Man as being in the Fantastic Four family of characters. That's just my own personal preference, though.

And hopefully someday we get a Diablo figure to put next to Dragon Man.

And a Machinesmith. Yes, I'm still stuck on the Dragon Man Captain America appearance. But seriously, we really do need a Diablo! Chances are my Dragon Man (thanks, @NORM !) will end up on my FF shelf. There is more room on that one than my Cap shelf anyway.

Finally got around to opening my Dragon Man and I’m real happy with him. He’s a lot more appropriately sized this time around. The original had great shelf presence and one of Toybiz’s best sculpts, but most Hulk figures were bigger. This one’s sculpted really well too. Way less stylized, but also a lot more comic accurate.

Articulation’s pretty good for a big figure. Pretty much the same as Maximum Hulk. As others have mentioned he doesn’t look up a lot. Stands very well compared to the old one too.

I do wish he’d come with an alternate angry head. Between the glasses and the book he’s clearly based on the Future Foundation intelligent version of the character with a kindly look to him.

He’s going to be taking up my old Dragon Man’s display space. With the closed wings, he oddly takes up less space than the original. The old one’s tail didn’t bend and stuck straight back, so he took a ton of space. This one doesn’t have a lot of toe articulation, but the old one’s toe articulation made it so he really couldn’t stand without sticking either his wings or tail on the ground.

I didn’t even realize there was any question of if Dragon Man is a F4 character.

He’ll get crammed on the top of my shelf with the likes of Watcher, Terrax, the Skrulls, Firelord, and Silver Surfer.

Specifically because of the accessories and expression I thought this was intended for the Foundation fans out there.

A little late to the DM party, but I received mine last night and had a chance to open him up this morning. Agree with everything that's already been said, both good and not so great- love the colors and the sculpt. Wish head had more backward ROM and would have preferred a couple of dedicated sculpts for the tail as opposed (or in addition) to the bendy tail. Great figure overall and I'm thankful to have him.

So I forgot where I'd put Dragon Man on the shelf (I had to hide him a bit because our kitten likes to chew on tails, ate the tip right off Blackheart's tail). So basically I created a jump scare situation for myself.

Dragon Man just scared the living sh*t out of me when I bumped into where I'd hit him from the cat. Might as well have said "BOO" while it happened.

I can't get this dude to stand up. Even in a vanilla pose, he just keeps flopping over. And he scares me when he does because he goes THUNK.

Someone mentioned articulated eyebrows and I really wish the team had done that. His neck ROM is atrocious and I don't think I've gotten either of his arms to bend because I've almost been hit in the face by his hands exploding off. I took off the hands and still haven't successfully gotten them to bend.

The tail is disappointing - why does it not move side to side? He's been on my table for a few days just lying there because I got tired of dealing with it.

I think the box is more exciting than the figure because of the 19-year-old memories it brings up.
