I've lived in California for nearly 50 years and I've never even heard of California City. I've heard of Michigan City, Kansas City, Colorado City, Iowa City, Oklahoma City, Nevada City and Florida City.

But California City? That's new. Well, ya learn something new everyday. (y)

Interesting. I have been curious (and a little frustrated) about why Mephisto was priced only $5.00 less than Dragon Man. Considering the significant size and weight difference (even including the throne), I would have expected Mephisto to come in closer to $60.00. Upon release, they tacked $15.00 onto DM's price and what, $30-35.00 onto the Sentinel?
I'm guessing maybe they overestimated the tariffs on Mephisto and so are content with keeping him at $80.00 for latecomers --because shouldn't he be more like $90-95.00 now?

So apparrently I've driven past it dozens of times... its south-east of Mojave between Tehachapi and Barstow. I take that road all the time to get to my mom's house in Joshua Tree... and I've never noticed it. I've stopped for gas and food in Mojave and Boron and never even noticed the signs for California City... 🤷‍♂️

Man, I have to wholeheartedly disagree with you regarding Select Mephisto. He did exactly what I needed him to do. Sit on his throne and look menacing. I'm actually moving him from my Marvel horror scene to my Halloween/Horror scene.
 
I had to rearrange my shelf because the shelf wouldn't fit behind his throne, but damn, if Mephisto doesn't look amazing. I kind of want him on a spinning table to show off the skull on the backside as well.

That's my conundrum as well (having no display space not withstanding). It's so great from the front, but then you can't appreciate the back!
