Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

He started gnawing on my Figma Tears of the Kingdom Link's Master Sword. I promptly relocated Link to the display case.
Mine chewed on evil ninja Matt Murdock's staff and put tooth prints in Firefly's boot. The latter, we had WORDS. (The former I ended up buying a new one for ten bucks.)

Cannot go? For a cat? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I legitimately have had to put a baby gate across my office door (where most of my breakable stuff is) to keep the boy cat from destroying everything just by wandering around. Because he figured out how to UNLOCK THE DOOR. But if the gate is there he can't do his goddamned Ocean's 11 bullshit to push the door open.

We also have baby gates in the windows cos he figured out how to open two of them.

Only wanted a komodo dragon but ended up buying the varnoks and a couple of the lizardmen to make the international postage cost more bearable. I had been wanting more evil-looking barbarians to balance out the heroic Frazetta style ones, and he comes with weapons from the one accessory pack I haven't bought yet.

I can also attest to Harvinger's durability. My figures have handled a plenty rough popping & swapping and a couple cat sabotages with no problems, and the only breakage was a cape peg that was my fault and they sell replacements for it anyway.

Have they given any updates on Elric? I'm not like, super concerned, just wondering when he might show up.
Their website says Q1 2026 and the last specific update I heard was that he and Death Dealer are being held up by their soft goods factory going dark post-tariffs and needing to find a new one. Haven't skimmed through the most recent livestream though so there could be newer info in that.

Our youngest cat will not leave the figure on my desk alone. I like putting a high-end Batman on there, but now that's out.
If it was Adam West Batman he'd had some 'cat-off' in his belt and you'd be fine. Rookie mistake going with the 'cool' Batman.

I've dropped Who-Man several times and he takes it like a champ. I do think Crucible builds their figures tougher than Frazetta or Mythic Legions in terms of facing gravity.
Yeah, just another thing to praise them about, but SC figures feel like some of the toughest figures I own - definitely in the same range as the safety-tested Mattel and Hasbro stuff, and way sturdier than basically anything from S7, NECA, BBWS (sample size of 1), etc.

Cannot go? For a cat? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
But for really real. All of our cats are (or have been, in the case of the ones no longer with us) trained and just know they're not allowed on certain surfaces. Mostly just the ones with toys. I could have a bookshelf and have action figures all the way to the floor and none of the cats will do anything to it.
The only exception prior to this rescue was MY cat, Loki, when he was still alive. If he was mad at me for not paying enough attention to him, he would casually walk by the lower shelves I used to have in here and knock things over with just the tip of his tail. Fucking asshole. I loved him so much.

I've been wanting to test out one of the human barbarian type dudes. Took me about twenty minutes to settle on Warrior with Ball & Chain.
I wrote an ENTIRE Spotlight about how great that figure is and it took you twenty minutes to decide to buy it? Does my good word mean NOTHING to you people?

Have they given any updates on Elric? I'm not like, super concerned, just wondering when he might show up.
I believe they said in a fairly recent livestream that he's still mostly on track to ship from factory Q1, but end of Q1 rather than early-mid like originally planned.

I hadn't seen this talked about but in their KS update from 12/26...
I was wondering what was going on with the Death Dealer release date...

Also from that update:
Elric and Death Dealer are days/weeks away from shipping from the factory. In general, it takes about 60+ days for goods to arrive in the US once they have left the factory. We will email invoices for deposit preorders once the figures have left the factory. Soft goods have been a bottleneck with these figures. The tariff situation created a significant disruption to the fabric/textile marketplace. We have two suppliers of fabric go out of business during the creation of the soft goods.
Thanks Obama.

I got two of those stand sets last week. They are freaking huge boxes. Twice as big as I expected. The komodo dragons are really, really cool. The finish on the real metal chain is almost indistinguishable from the plastic. I hadn't planned on ordering the Varnoks, so of course I got two.
