If Ball-and-Chain Warrior didn't exist, Nashorn would be not just my favorite SC figure, but one of my favorite action figures.
Currently in a post-game DM brain fog / high with the SC site open right now and Nashorn in my fucking cart, thanks

EDIT: I ordered him and I'm hoping this is the ONE TIME Damien doesn't bust my balls about not having any willpower with buying stuff.

Morgan Freeman Voiceover: "Unfortunately for Dungeon Daddy, this would not be the one time Damien didn't bust his balls."

Fuckin' KNEW all I had to say was that I really like that figure and you'd get it. Look at you. Look in the mirror! You can't NOT buy the cool toy. It's like provoking a cat to kill a mouse; you can say I did it, but this is just who you are.

But seriously, I hope you like him as much as I do.

I think I can live without Nashorn - I'm happy enough with the Mythic Legions Vorgus Vermilius - but I do wish Krieger The Shunned were still available.

I'm debating Nashorn or Ko'mo right now...

Okay, people convince me one way or the other.

Adding to the Nashorn love here. I prefer mine with the helmet from one of the accessory packs, fantastic figure however you configure him. Definitely get him if you’re on the fence, I’m sure these will not be easy to come by when they completely dry up!

Oldie pic from the fwoosh days

I really like the banded horns option for Nashorn, but I couldn't justify the cost of the accessory set just to get them.

I hear ya. Thats a big ask if you just want the horns. Mine came with the kickstarter package, not sure I would have ordered separately after the fact.. but I did end up using a bunch of stuff from both packs eventually. Most of the stuff is pretty nice.

Most of the stuff in the entire line is pretty nice. But I gotta draw a line somewhere. I did get the Raider set, which I liked a lot of the stuff in and I'm currently using a fair bit of it, and I've swapped out other stuff in it on occasion. So definitely well worth it. But the Conquest set with the Nashorn stuff.... literally the only thing I think I would ever use or even like is the one set of horns. So as much as I liked them, it was a pretty easy pass.

Buy them both and decide which one you like better later. Obv.
I only got so much room. Who-Man is a lock, Nakara and Elric are coming later so room is dedicated to them already. I got room for one more and Nakara and Nashorn look similar...

Obviously only have Ko'Mo in hand since I only just let Damien bully me into buying Nashorn, but the real standout part of Ko'Mo is there is NOTHING like him in any collection anywhere, and there likely never will. He really is one of the most unique figures I own.

If you're going for uniqueness on the shelf - you already answered your own question, I think: Ko'Mo. Like Doc said, he's got a very unique look, and you likely won't end up with any/many figures that look anything like him.
Nakara shares the same body/armor as Nashorn, so the question just becomes which color scheme and weapons/heads do you like more? If you've already got Nakara, or already ordered him, you can probably skip out on Nashorn unless you REALLY like the sword he comes with, which thus far has been unique to him.

For mostly naked muscle dudes, my vote would be Kreiger > Ball and Chain > Who-Man > Varnoks, though the only one I look at and think "ehh, I could've skipped him" is Varnoks. the other three do a lot of unique things stylistically that make them feel needed.

Ko'Mo uses the lemurian base body but the colors, the armor, the head sculpt are all super unique. I really like the Lemurians I have but they are all similar enough to each other I don't feel like I need to buy the ones I missed.

I think Nashorn will look great squaring off against Elric on the shelf though, in ways the other guys won't.

Nashorn also really looks good up against any of the three main naked barbarian guys. Has that He-Man v. Skeletor energy going for it. I especially like him against Warrior due to the contrast between Warrior being just fur all over and a helmt, and Nashorn having this elaborate-but-ancient looking armor. They contrast each other really well.
